Charitable Giving Projects for Pets | Royal Canin

As the leader in pet Health Nutrition, Royal Canin is committed to improving the lives of cats and dogs in every way we can. Our “Pet First” philosophy focuses on the well-being and quality of life for cats and dogs, by allowing them to live longer in good health through our actions, sustainable efforts, and community outreach.

Project Pet First was developed to formalize a donation process for Royal Canin to ensure the equitable distribution of donated pet food nationwide and an In-Kind Gift Package that encourages responsible pet ownership and promotes a healthy lifestyle for pets!

Royal Canin Associates Give Back

Royal Canin began the annual community service project tradition in 2009 in New Orleans when associates spent a day rebuilding homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Since then, Royal Canin has made a positive impact on communities across the country. In 2010, our associates built a park in Hot Springs, Virginia and in 2011 renovated Summit County Animal Shelter in Keystone, Colorado. Royal Canin chose Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) animal shelter as its 2012 service project beneficiary because the shelter shares the company's core values of knowledge and respect for animals, as well as, a long history of putting the animal first.
