Wonderful quality food with very large kibble. However, my 6 year old Golden girl put on weight (3 lbs) on the recommended per cup feeding on the bag. I have since cut down in daily feeding . I love the food and don't plan to switch, but watch your dogs weight when you first go on it.

My golden has been eating this for about a month now - she's losing some weight - the low calories are important for her right now. She seems to love it and transitioned to this brand easily.

We have been using this food for our 2 goldens who are 4 years old. It has never given them any digestion problems and their coats look amazing.
My one complaint is that the bags sometimes are more vacuum sealed and sometimes less. I wish they were always vacuum sealed tight. They are never open just loose in the bag sometimes.

I switched to Royal Canin (from Blue) a couple of months ago at the recommendation of my Vet. So glad I did, as I have seen an incredible difference in my 8 year old Golden. Before Royal Canin, his energy level was low, coat was lackluster and eyes appeared cloudy. Cannot believe the difference in our 8 year old!! He finally plays (really plays!) with our 18 month old Golden, which she needed. His coat is soft and shiny AND his eyes look clear and healthy!!

The proof is in the pooping!
I just switched to this dog food and from the moment I opened the bag I was impressed! My two Golden's love the flavor! After a few days of adjusting to the new food, their poop tells me everything I need to know. They are pooping fewer times each day and less is coming out. This dog food has more nutrients to absorb and less waste to get out. As a dog mom, this makes me feel so good to know I have finally found a healthy dry dog food!!!!
