Bought pill assist for my cat and finally able to take pills. BUT now I cannot find them and I’m angry.

My cats love these. They're small, moist and they stay intact very well. They're also easy to break in half if a smaller portion is needed. The only thing I do not like is the bag closure. It's a zip closure, but it can be difficult to open the closure without pulling the zip right off one side of the bag and it then becomes useless. The last 4 or 5 bags I've purchased have had to be transferred to a ziploc bag because of this issue.

My cat is insanely picky and I was dreading putting him on prozac since I hate using a pill gun. I tried everything - the pill pockets from pet stores, wet food, churros, tuna etc. I bought this is a Hail Mary and he ate it up with the pill inside!!! I hope they never ever discontinue this!!!

28 mai 2022Easiest way to give meds to a cat
We have been giving our cat his meds in these for the last 18 months. When he first started needing medication, our vet gave us samples of a variety of pill wraps. These were the only ones he’d eat. They are a likely contributing factor for why he is still alive- since he takes his meds with no problem. Our vet told me this morning they aren’t sure they’ll be able to get more, because of a discontinuation of the product (unsure if permanent or temporary). If that happens, I don’t know what we’ll do. I anticipate it will certainly be more difficult. I really hope RC doesn’t discontinue this product!

We’ve been using these for 2 years and our cat wakes my husband up in the morning to get his pills!
Unfortunately, I’ve been advised that they’re on indefinite back order and I can’t find anyone selling them. I don’t think my cat will eat anything else; I don’t know what we’re going to do when our last package is gone. I don’t think RC understands what a bind they’ve put us in.

This product is a game changer. I have 2 large boy cats on medications and Pill Assist has made a world of difference to my giving them pills. The moment I shake the bag they both come running and line up to get their meds.

My data will not touch pill pockets, but they go crazy for these. They now come running when they hear the pills shake in the vial because they know they are getting one of these. Makes my life so much easier that my cats will just devour their pills.

This is a game changer!! Before pill assist I'd have to stalk my cats every day to give them their medicine by shoving it down their throat which no on enjoys. Now, they beg me for their medicine and eat it right up!! Thank you, Royal Canin for helping me maintain my bond with my cats!

I bought these for my cat who needs daily meds for life. He HATES being pilled, so I've been having to dissolve the medication in water in a syringe and give it to him that way. I got an email about these saying they are 91% effective. I thought, why not! He gobbled the pill right up! Usually he is a picky and slow eater so I was shocked. I decided to put these to the test against the Pill Pockets. He wouldn't touch the Pill Pockets, but would eat it with the Pill Assists. Eventually he would reluctantly eat the Pill Pockets, but he 100% preferred the Pill Assist. Will be buying a lot of these in the future!
