I just talked to my vet. This product is NOT discontinued. However it is not currently available. As soon as it’s back in stock you will be able to order.
I do agree that there may be some quality issues. My dog used to love the canned version and now he won’t eat it.

Our Cinderella was a Puppy Mille Mommy and as a result has a damaged digestive system. Our Veterinarian put her on Royal Canin dry following a blockage where we almost lost her. Later he added the canned meat and the treats. We haven't had another problem since then. Cinderella is a registered Service Dog and is cross trained as a Therapy and has done 300 hours making people happy. Her original owner was an abusive human that should never be allowed to own a dog again.

After years of searching for an answer, my vet diagnosed my Greyhound with INS and recommended this food. It was the only thing that put her GI system in check and kept her healthy. When the packaging changed recently, I didn’t think anything of it, but I’ve now learned that a recipe change was also enacted. My dog hasn’t been eating normally for over a month, been to the vet, and had rounds of medicine with nothing major to report. But now I know. Shame on you Royal Canin for upsetting so many animals’ health with your unannounced changes. We’re back to square one again, will be searching for a new food to ease Lynsey’s tummy issues.

I bought this food for my dog who has spina big USA and needs a special diet. We tried a few other things but this, with added fiber, he actually seems to enjoy. It’s a bit pricey but if he needs it he’ll get it!

I have the pickiest water in the world. He won’t eat the competitions diets but loves this diet. I can’t say enough good things. This diet is the best because it helps keep his weight steady as well.
