Benefits

Exclusive Kibble: Special Brachycephalic Jaw
The Shih Tzu is a good example of the "brachycephalic" jaw type with a very short muzzle. Shih Tzu kibbles are exclusively designed to make it easier for the Shih Tzu to pick up and encourages him to chew.

Healthy Skin
The skin reflects the dog's state of health. An appropriate food is important in maintaining healthy skin. Shih Tzu Adult helps support the skin's role as a barrier with an exclusive complex of nutrients and helps maintain skin health (EPA, DHA and Vitamin A).

Coat Health
The Shih Tzu's hair is known for its continuous growth and natural softness. This exclusive formula contributes to maintaining the health of the Shih Tzu's long coat. Enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA), Omega-6 fatty acids and biotin.

Stool & Odor Reduction
This formula helps reduce fecal smell and volume, and helps support good digestion with highly digestible proteins (LIP), an appropriate fiber content and high quality carbohydrate sources.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Transition from your ShihTzu puppy food! My puppy has been on the Royal Canin puppy Shih Tzu dry food and I wanted Luke to continue with Royal Canin product; I worried how he might take to this Adult version as Shih Tzus are extremely fussy eaters! This last week I have been nervously mixing the Adult and Puppy and thus far he loves the Adult, phew! I worried for nothing! Same fantastic ingredients etc, he has had no problems transitioning, I'm very happy and relieved! Loves his Royal Canin tinned food also! Royal Canin is a hit and a winner in our house, both my Shih Tzus are now on five different products between the two of them! Royal Canin's online customer service team are the best and have helped me choose Luke and Leo's food! Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Canin Adult Shih Tzu Maxie has a huge tongue that doesn't all fit in his mouth but has tiny teeth and a little bite. The size and shape of the Royal Canin Adult Shih Tzu dry kibble is perfect for him to be able to pick up and chew. It is wonderful to see him not struggle trying to eat and also enjoying his meal. His coat has also improved and is much thicker and luxurious. He is my heart and my heart feels good knowing he is happy and healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cookie and Cupcake love it We started feeding Royal Canin Shih Tzu food about 3.5 years ago and have not ever had problems with this food, our dogs love it. Our big girls were very picky eaters and we could not find a food they would eat, but no more problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps my dog healthy We bought several sample bags of this food to see if it was something our dog would digest well. Prior to using this food, we struggled to find foods (even non-grain foods) that would not give our Shih Tzu ear infections and digestive issues. Now that he has been on the Royal Canin Shih Tzu food, he is healthy -- no ear infections, no digestive issues. His coat is healthier and he appears to have more energy. Thank you Royal Canin! When we had a Dachshund we fed him the breed specific food as well and he loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adult/Shih Tzu dry food. My babies Minnie Marie and Meggie Mae has ate Royal Canin all their lives. Their older 'sister' Casey Lyn who was adopted at two years old from the shelter enjoyed Royal Canin also. She lived to 16 years and 8 months. They have Royal Canin available at all times and prefer it over their meals of ground turkey and veggies. They are now 10 year old and in excellent health. Their Vet. sells Royal Canin at his office but I buy it on line because it is so convenient. I try to save money but never on their food because they are so healthy and really love their Royal Canin over any other dry food. I have tried other cheaper dry food and ended up feeding it to the birds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog love this food! Since my dog came home, we used to buy here Royal Canin Shih Tzu for Puppies and then for adults. She is so crafty and picky that we started buying RC Spayed/Neutered and combine it with the Shih Tzu one and she just eat the pellets from the Shih Tzu one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from where can i get this made in the USA I bought this product in the USA via Amazon, and my 8 year old Shihtzu loved it. As i could only carry a couple of packets I then bought the same product from Royal canin India. There is a difference in the components and the colour of the kibble and my pet is not so happy eating it. This one is made in France. Can I get the american made kibble delivered to India? Please let me know as the dealers and pet shops don't seem to think its different or that it shouldn't matter, but obviously if the dog doesn't eat it happily there is a difference, plus the ingredients marked on the pac ket are different. Help!
