Product Reviews
Royal Canin ® Breed Health Nutrition ® Yorkshire Terrier Adult dry dog food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 299.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dog absolutely loves this product !! I bought this product a month and a half ago to transition from puppy food to adult food . Wasn't sure how it was going to go but my dog had no issues whatsoever. I mix the food gradually as I was supposed to do and found that my dog loved it so much he was picking out the Royal Canine brand and no longer eating the puppy food within a day and a half. There were zero issues at all transitioning him and he gets excited whwn it is feeding time. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to give their loving pet not only the best food there is to offer but also one that has the best quality and taste but one that makes you feel good knowing that you are only giving the best to the newest member of your family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome and wholesome nutrition ! My dog Rizzy when I first got her from a shelter she would not eat. I had to spoon feed her fed her all kinds of brands and barely could get her to eat it. Then as a god set along came Royal Canin I must admit before purchasing I had reservations but thought what the heck it might work since it is breed specific and from my hometown thats a double positive. Well I was impressed I put it in the bowl and she ate on her own no spoon and enjoyed it and ate seconds!!! Way to go Royal Canin you have a excellent quality product for all breeds of dogs and a company that loves dogs and their love really shows glad to have you as a part of my family!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Food my dog will eat Grace is my third Yorkshire Terrier and they are well known for being picky eaters. I found Royal Canin when my second Yorkie was about 5 years old. I had tried many dog foods and she would eat them for a while and then we were on the hunt for another she would eat. I tried Royal Canin and she ate it till she passed over the Rainbow bridge at 14. When I got my new puppy, Grace I started her off immediately on the Puppy food and then transitioned to the Adult food. She is now 6 years old and still loves her Royal Canin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feeby loves her food My little yorkie is 4 years old now and Royal Canin has giving her the development and straight her little bones need. Feeby loves her food and is always looking forward to devour her bowl of food. In the beginning when I first got her we tried about 10 different kinds of dog food but Feeby didn't like any of them. Some were too big for her little mouth to chew, others too dry. Then we found Royal Canin puppy food and we moved to the adult size as she grew older. There was no going back the search was finally over. I always recommend Royal canin to other yorkie families. Its the best. No competition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brand I can feel safe feeding to my dogs In the late 1990's one of my schnauzers (Stormy) was plagued with calcium oxylate bladder stones. After his third surgery, my vet researched diets for him and decided IVD Modified was the best for preventing the stones. Her practice sold a competing brand, but her research indicated the competitor's food was more likely to cause pancreatitis in his breed. After I switched his food, he never had bladder stones again. The food was safe to feed both my schnauzers, which made life easier for me. I noticed my white schnauzer's (Muffin) tear stains disappeared when she started eating the IVD/Royal Canin food. When IVD became Royal Canin, the quality remained. Other companies seemed to have recall after recall, but their food was safe. Both dogs thrived and lived to the ripe old age of 16. I met someone who had many dogs from the same breeder as my Stormy and he was amazed that my dog lived so long. He told me the oldest their dogs ever made was 14 because they were plagued with kidney issues. I believe those two extra years were curtesy of their Royal Canin diet. When my schnauzers passed in 2012, I adopted a Yorkie mix (Benji) from the local shelter. I tried feeding the brand the shelter recommended, a well known premium brand, but he picked out certain pieces of the kibble to eat and spit the rest on the floor. I'd been buying my dog food at the vet for over a decade so it was a shock to see how many choices there were at the pet store. I discovered Royal Canin breed specific display and was thrilled. I bought a small bag to try and my dog loved it. The kibble was the right size for his tiny mouth and he must have liked the flavor because he didn't spit anything out. His coat improved, he built muscle, he gained 3 lbs (he was underweight when I adopted him), and he seemed happy. I trust the company based on my experience with the Rx formula, the lack of recalls, the condition and health of my dogs past and present. I like that the formulas are created specific to medical and/or breed needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect food!! Our Vet recommended trying Royal Canin with my Yorkies since all other brands did not appeal to them and they were extremely tiny. First time I placed a few nuggets in their dish they quickly ate them, they would pick out the old brand and drop it rating only the Royal Canin. I have since added to my pack and switched the new family members to Royal Canin it’s funny to watch the new kids as they too pick through their bowl and eat only the Royal Canin. I love how their coats are all shiny and their skin is not dry they are happy and healthy babies now that we have the right food for them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Canin adult Yorkshire Terrier Dry food I have two Yorkshire terriers. One is just 5 pounds and she would not even eat dry food until I gave her Royal Canin Yorshire Terrier food. She always had digestive problems because she only ate wet food. She is now 9 years old and my other Yorky is 6 years old and they both love their Royal Canin and no longer have the digestive problems that they had before. Each breed specific food is keyed to the problems of that breed. Yorkshire terriers are picky eaters and they have problems with their teeth, joints and digestive systems. This food is the best!
