Product Reviews
Royal Canin ® Feline Care Nutrition ™ Weight Care dry cat food is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from New Formula More Calories/Less Protein? My cat loved the Indoor Light 40 Dry Food. I just bought the replacement: Light. Only problem is that the new formula has more calories and less protein. Doesn't seem like a good trade off. Can anyone out explain why the formula was changed to not as optimal combination? I love Royal Canin and the Indoor Light 40, but the stores no longer sell it and the "Light - 33% less" is the replacement. I'm afraid my cat will gain weight. Since there is no alternative, except vet ordered RC food, I will give it a try and see what happens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, pleased. My two fur babies have been using Royal Canin since they were 5 weeks old and so keeping them on the same brand was important to me. After they were spayed, and after they passed the 2-year mark, the evidence of too many treats prompted me to switch to the diet food. They seem to like it. The only suggestion I have is that the kibble pieces could be a bit bigger -- I've noticed that my hungry kitties tend to swallow the pieces whole. I'd prefer they chew them to help keep their teeth healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Trustworthy My first experience with Royal Canin dry cat food was one of the veterinary blends; it was so effective as an Rx food for our Reggie, that we started getting all our regular food by Royal Canin, too! The Light food lives up to its name, it's helped our cats lose weight and maintain it while being indoors in a small apartment with limited exercise options. Also, they LOVE it; the amazing flavor keeps them eating it (while other light foods often taste blah to them). I can't recommend it enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got a chubby kitty? Two of my four cats have gained a little weight so we tried Indoor Light 40 dry food and all four of them liked it! With a little increased activity, the two chubby kids have lightened up and are more active, playful and healthy. This food was well received by this picky brood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tastes great & lose weight! I bought Royal Canin Indoor Light 40 dry cat food a couple of months ago when my veterinarian recommended it because my cat, Hemmy, was a little overweight. Hemmy transitioned to the new food with no problems - she actually loves Indoor Light 40! And as a bonus, she's gradually losing weight. It's a win - win!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it! I think this cat food is a great price and my cats love it! Our vet suggested trying royal canin and I never want to switch their diet now. It's great! Both of my CTS like it and it's healthy for them so it works out great. I switched around a lot but this is definitely a keeper.
