Royal Canin® Feline Health Nutrition Kitten Spayed / Neutered dry cat food 2.5 lb Bag

Spaying or neutering leaves a lasting impact on a young kitten’s health and weight. Hormone changes lessen energy needs, while giving them a giant appetite. This risky combo means it can be hard to control their weight gain. That’s why it’s critical to give your kitten the right diet from the start.

Royal Canin Spayed/Neutered Dry Kitten Food contains a precise blend of essential nutrients your kitten needs after surgery to keep a healthy body weight and growth rate. With optimal levels of fat, plus a mix of digestible proteins, vitamins, and minerals, this kitten food supports growing muscles and bones without putting on the pounds. The small, x-shaped kibble is easy to pick up and chew, even as new teeth grow in. And because your kitten's immune system is still developing, this diet contains an exclusive blend of antioxidants and vitamins to strengthen and protect your kitten’s natural defenses, so they can keep growing strong.

Royal Canin Spayed/Neutered Kitten Dry Food is precisely formulated for kittens up to 12 months old after surgery

Product Reviews
Royal Canin ® Feline Health Nutrition™ Kitten Spayed / Neutered dry cat food 2.5 lb Bag is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only thing that worked!! My kitten has stomach issues; wouldn't make it to the litter box, inconsistent, bloody, crying while pooping, super bad smelly. I tried regular food, mix wet/dry, grain-free, just about every brand at the pet store. I really didn't want to get prescription food because it can be so expensive (I had another cat with the same issue). I tried this product, within the first week it helped SO SO much. He's been on it for over 9 months and we've hardly had any issues, and no more disgusting smell. My older cat prefers the kitten food to her own, and it has even helped her. So gladly that I found something that works and I can easily get in most pet stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you want big, happy, beautiful kittens? I knew nothing about Royal Canin when I adopted two brown tabby kittens. I kept with the brand because that's what their foster home started them on... Now I have the most adorable (usually...) pair of mountain lions (they got BIG)! Their coats are so smooth and silky!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the most important cat food in my home. Seriously I wouldn't be able to go one night in my home without a bag of this. We have a number of indoor cats that are adults but this food is the best as occasional treats and enticements when they have appetite lags and small meals when they just won't eat. We care for feral colonies and use it for the same reasons with them. We use it to gain trust from the ferals also. We also foster kittens and it is a fact that this food is the reason they grow up healthy and thrive beautifully. We are probably one of the only families to have and/or care for a large number of newborn through adulthood felines with the lowest vet expenses and the healthiest animals on the planet. The majority of our disposable income is on our cats and ferals and rescue food. We buy many types including other Royal Canin that would also get my excellent review, but this one is the staple food that is a must have. I truly believe it is the greatest reason for being blessed with healthy cats. When you feed it to the kittens you have to monitor it, because if you have adults you will find an empty bowl. Use the adult formulas for the full adult meals. Use this to get your adult to jump through hoops. I recommend this as a true must have to start a kitten out on! Well actually the mama/baby cat first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from balanced high impact nutrition Originally got this at my veterinarians suggestion for my post- operative, and insulinoma maintenance patients. Theyve all taken to it when appetites have become iffy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My kitties love it! I was given a small bag of this by the rescue society I got both of my kittens from and boy do they love this. I bought a bigger bag and another bag of kitten food by a different brand and they absolutely prefer the Royal Canin over the other dry food. One of them has a big appetite and will continue to eat out of his brothers bowl after feeding from his own bowl! I noticed that this brand is good quality. I did not try this before with my previous cat and I believe this brand of food is healthier and better for my kitties. They are so active with a healthy appetite and are growing so fast! I wish to try the appetite control line of food next once they are past the kitten stage. I definitely recommend this to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only food for our Ragdoll We tried other foods for our Ragdoll cat but they all gave her diarrhea. We switched back to Royal Canin Kitten Spayed/Neutered food, and we have not had any problems. It helps her to maintain healthy stools, and with a long haired cat that is extremely important!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only the best I go through this like crazy. Wouldn't put my kittens on anything else. With them being fixed, they tend to get a little chubby as kittens. You want to give them a good start right? Will only feed them this.
