Royal Canin® Feline Health Nutrition™ Mother & Babycat dry cat food

Baby cats grow so quickly that certain kitten foods aren’t tailored to their nutritional needs. A mother cat’s milk has protective antibodies to support her kitten’s natural defenses. But as a baby cat transitions to eating solids, their immune systems are still developing. This “immunity gap” leaves a kitten in a fragile state. With growing bones, emerging teeth, and developing immune and digestive systems, they need the right nutrition to grow strong.

Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Dry Kibble feeds your young kitten’s magnificence from the very start with the building blocks needed for healthy growth: Essential nutrients like DHA for brain development. Immune system-strengthening antioxidants and vitamins. Highly digestible proteins and prebiotics for a maturing digestive system. And transitioning your newborn kitten to solid food is simple: The unique, tiny kibble can be rehydrated with warm water for a softer food that eases kittens to a more “grown-up” diet.

Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Dry food is formulated for the specific needs of growing baby kittens (1-4 months) and queen cats (pregnant or nursing)

Royal Canin ® Feline Health Nutrition™ Mother & Babycat dry cat food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best baby food ever! As a foster home for. No kill rescue I have the choice as to what kitten food to feed my infants. After goats milk in a bottle and gruel, baby cat is my next step. Every one of the infants I have had LOVEbabycat and it is so easy for them to eat. Even 2 of my adults still will ONLY eat baby cat! Also RC is the only food that you can change to with out the worry of diarrhea in animals. Love you for that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big change in only Three Weeks! My husband rescued this mixed breed male cat. Our vet told us he was 6 weeks old and recommended to buy a good quality cat food to make him gain weight (he was only 1.3 pounds) We chose this Mother and Babycat food and started feeding our little Thomas follwing the feeding guide... It was love at first taste! It´s been 3 weeks from that and now the cat looks so much better! He is so active and weights 2.65 pounds today! His hair has changed completely to shiny and thick. Now he is ready for vaccination. For sure we will keep giving him Royal Canin. 100% recomended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for mommy and babies After discovering the newest addition to my fur family would be bringing in some additions of her own, I wanted only the best for her and her soon to be babies. I worked at an animal shelter at the time so I asked my coworkers and the veterinarians what would be best to feed a pregnant cat and was told of this product. She delivered 7 healthy adorable kittens, and once they weened I moistened the kibbles and they loved it too. Mommy and 5 of the kittens were adopted out and have loving homes with friends and my parents have two of the kittens as well (they are 7 now and loving life)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Food As a breeder of American Shorthairs I wanted a food that I could feed to my pregnant and nursing queens as well as their kittens when they were weaned. I needed to be sure that the food would make that healthy transition for the mothers as well as the kittens. Royal Canin Mother & Babycat food did just that. While the mothers ate the dry formula I started the kittens on the wet, gradually moving them on to only the dry. They thrived. Each visit to the veterinarian for inoculations showed weight gain, beautiful shiny coats and all around good health.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This food is life saving for other cats too I started using the mother and babycat dry when I was fostering kittens and also when I had a cat that would benefit from some extra building up. Havent had a single cat refuse this food yet. Recently I gave a friend some for her cat who had full mouth extraction and really wouldn't eat due to pain so she tried this babycat as the kibble is also softer than regular kibble, tiniest pieces. This poor fellow was almost grateful he started to chow down on this food and I really believe it saved him from some terrible complications from refusal to eat, he wanted to eat, just needed a less painful kibble for his still tender mouth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Kibble for Baby Kittens I am a Ragdoll breeder and have been feeding this to my kittens for years. At 3 to 4 weeks old, I put the kibble out and they start eating it - sometimes before they eat canned food! It is so palatable that some of my adult cats like it too. I have a 13 year old who has digestive issues and doesn't keep weight on well, plus he has lost a lot of his teeth. He loves the Babycat kibble! Another of my spayed girls had an esophageal stricture as a kitten and can't eat large kibble, yet she prefers dry food over canned. So I sprinkle the Babycat on the floor and she eats the kibs one by one. Babycat never gets stuck in her throat like the larger kibble does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Appetizing and sized just right Like many others here, I foster kittens, bottle babies that need all the help they can get after a rough start in life. I have found that this food is perfect for weaning, with many kittens not even needing it to be softend with formula to encourage them to try it. They start to nibble on it as soon as it is offered to them. I work in pet speciality retail, and I know the pros and cons of every pet food we carry. Its not about how expensive the food, grain free or not. Its about how well your fur baby does on a particular food, what your pets particular need is. I can telll you from personal experience, this is the best food out there for 1st stage kitten growth, as you can see in the photos of my foster fail Chief, who turns 1yr soon

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best dry weaning food on the market. Other than canned food this is the best weaning food. I also topdress it on the next food to help transition easier. I will supplement my show cats or any picky cats to increase their intake to improve their body condition. The small size makes it mix into other dry foods so they accept them sooner. The small kibble size also mixes into the canned food so that the picky eaters will eat more dry instead of picking out the canned only. It really helps queens who are nursing heavily to maintain or regain body weight. My go to kibble.
