Royal Canin ® Size Health Nutrition™ Giant Puppy dry dog food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made for My Puppy We've had golden retrievers for almost 40 years. After the death of our much-beloved golden, we decided to finally get a Newfoundland. Discussions with the breeder, the new puppy's vet and our own research convinced us that we needed a food appropriate for Thor and his growth needs. Simon was tall for a golden and weighed 80 pounds which qualifies him as a large dog. But watching our Newfoundland grow from 20 to 50 pounds in 2 months persuaded us that our potentially 140 pound Newfie, needed a giant breed food if we could find one. We found very few brands that had a feed solely for giant breeds, not just large/giant breeds. And happily, Royal Canin was one of the top 3 feeds recommended by our vet. Thor is thoroughly enjoying it, and it seems to have helped some minor digestive issues the earlier feeds were causing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for our Neapolitan Mastiff puppy Our Neapolitan Mastiff puppy has a sensitive tummy. She had diarrhea and very loose stools. The breeder had started the puppies on Diamond large breed puppy food and we tried Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food. Nothing worked. The vet did all the testing and then put her on the high energy gastro food. That did it. We transitioned to this food and she is doing great! These puppies grow fast. From 8 wks to 11 wks, she grew 10 pounds. My only challenge with this food is finding it. No one local carries it and the online retailers run out of stock. Please find more retailers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful pup When we tried this we were skeptical once it was so pricey. But WOW! What a difference! Great coat, eyes, happy English mastiff puppy! Smaller stools, great breath. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dogue De Bordeaux puppy I bought this bag a month ago and I already see a difference in his coat, and stools. His coat is soft and shinny, and his stools a re solid and not loose. I love this brand! I also like that Royal Canin gave giant breeds their own brand of food instead of them being labeled as large breed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my great dane puppy I tried Royal Canin based on other reviews I read and the fact that the previous food I had my puppy on was causing him some issues. This food turned out to be perfect for him, he loves it and the kibbles are big enough that he's having to chew them instead of swallowing them whole which was the problem with the other food. He is now nine months old (110 lbs) and has moved on to the junior version of the food but still loves it and I don't foresee any reason why we would ever switch to another brand.
