Royal Canin ® Size Health Nutrition ™ Small Starter Mother and Babydog dry dog food is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best puppy dry food starter I work for an animal shelter and almost always have weaning puppies. It is extremely palatable, the size of the kibble is excellent for all puppies beginning to eat dry food, and seems to always be agreeable with their tiny tummies! A great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! This product is amazing!!! All 4 of my Boston Terriers love this! I originally bought this when my female BT was pregnant..... my expectations of this product were not only met, but exceeded! We have been breeding Boston terriers for several years and I had never seen such healthy puppies and mom! The puppies transitioned from mom’s milk with ease and mom continued to maintain a healthy weight. Because of my experience, I let the other BT’s eat the product as well and they loved it! This is the ONLY product I feed my Mother and baby dogs, and I buy at least 1 bag a month to feed my other Bostons to keep their coat/skin and overall health maintained.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best food for Mums and puppies I am a hobby breeder of Bolognese dogs, a very rare, small and beautiful breed. I have always had beautiful puppies but since I started feeding Mum the diet specially formulated for gestating mums, and then this product for nursing Mums and puppies who are beginning to eat, they are healthier, happier and more beautiful. Their hair is far nicer than when I fed them other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this food I breed miniature schnauzers and teacup Yorkies. This is a great transition from mum to solids. The dry morsels are not much bigger than a grain of rice,so it makes it easy for even the tiniest mouths to eat. The puppies love the food and dive right into it. The Royal Canin starter food provides them with all the nutrients their little growing bodies need. Since using it, I having had any glycemic episodes, which is common in small puppies. With the addition of the Starter mousse to their diets, nothing more is needed to ensure perfect strong growth of healthy puppies. I also give it to my pregnant and nursing mums.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Starter food and for small puppies This food is great for tiny puppies never had a puppy not like this food. The pieces of kibble are the smallest I've found which is great for toy breeds puppies with extremely tiny teeth. I only wish our local Petsmart carried bigger bags of this food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puppies love it! I bought this after a friend referred it to me and couldn't be happier that I did! The small Pomeranian and Chihuahua puppies love it and have no problem eating it since it's so small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST starter food for a puppy! So I ended up having to pick my Yorkie/Maltese (Morkie) female puppy up almost 2 weeks early, so she was about 6 1/2 weeks old. She was already super small because of her breed but also due to her age. I had bought IAMS Smart Puppy since that's what the breeder told me she was feeding them, but the bites were HUGE and Lucy (our puppy) barely had one tooth let a lone a whole mouth full! So I went to Pets Mart and told them my issues and they were kind enough to point me in the direction of Royal Canin Mini Starter. Lucy began eating right away. She was eating the wet food mouse formula mini starter for a good month and we began offering her the dry form alone throughout the day and we noticed she loved it! She also loves that it's mixed in with her wet food for her regular meals throughout the day. They are small triangular shape but easy enough for her to chew. She is now 4 months old & we are beginning to transition her to the Xsmall puppy formulas which has the same triangular shaped kibble but a little bigger. So far so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smallest kibble for tiny puppies! I love mini starter and so do my Yorkie babies. They wean very well onto solid food with it and it doesn't gag them like bigger kibble.
