Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved My Little Peekapoos Life! Without RC GI, Low Fat food, I don't know if my Zoey would be alive today. Two years ago she was diagnosed with IBD with possibly CIL as a secondary. She had stopped eating and her abdomen was bloated. She became lethargic and her bowel movements were watery. In addition to requiring certain medicines, diet is one of the main factors in controling this disease. The Vet at the university hospital recommended both the wet and the dry. We started Zoey on the wet, a little at a time, then as she began to heal, we added the dry. Since then, she is off her meds, and entirely on the dry food. She is healthy and her labs are very good and have remained so. I'm so grateful for Royal Canine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Diet! Stopped my dog's GI upset completely My corgie mix has always been very sensitive to dog food since she was a puppy. We would feed her a top of the line brand and within a month she would get GI upset symptoms causing us to constantly switch to new brands. After trying almost every brand, including holistic high end brands, her veterinarian made the recommendation to put her on the Royal Canin GI LF diet and for the past 2 years this has completely prevented her GI symptoms. This blend really is easy on her stomach and digestive tract. The food also seems palatable and my dog has no problem wanting to eat it. Overall a great product, I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as meal and as a kibble treat! We Royal Canin LF Gastro food!!! Our vet recommended the canned; Royal Canin Vet Diet Canine Gastrointestinal Low Fat after our Toy Poodle experienced several 'bouts of life threatening Pancreatitis. We promised we'd keep her on it exclusively for the rest of her life and we're keeping that promise. The promise was made 2 years ago and she has not had another bout of Pancreatitis since. We mix the same formula in canned with the same dry to give her the crunch, yet moist canned. She loves it! Treats? She also loves the dry as her treat which continues to keep her exclusively on Royal Canin LF Gastro. Keep up the great work!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We use it for all of our dogs. We initially tried the gastro food when my dog had a stomach upset. You can switch from any food to this food without the normal period where you mix the old and new food to prevent diarrhea. One of my dogs had hip problems so we had to watch her weight, and my other dog is very sensitive to fat. This helped my older dog keep her weight down because it's lower in calories and the younger is able to digest this food more easily. I mix the canned with the dry and they both love it! In addition, Royal Canin has a program where you guy 9 and get the 10th free. It really helps keep this dog food price in line with others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my dog's life! Two years ago my Chihuahua mix had a severe case of pancreatitis and no matter what brand dog food I fed him, I still could not control the severe vomiting and diarrhea. Fortunately, my veterinarian recommended Royal Canin Gastrointestional Lowfat, both the dry and the canned, and I have been feeding this to my little Boots ever since. Thankfully, he took very well to this food and he is very happy and healthy today. He is also my best friend as I am now fighting metastatic breast cancer and he stays by my side and is keeping me happy throughout the harrowing treatments. Royal Canin may be more expensive than other dog foods, but it is totally worth it. God Bless all of you at Royal Canin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Total transformation!! I have a very healthy 17 Aussie/Shepherd mix. She is the love of my life. She has slowly been losing weight and within last few weeks began to have significant GI upset. She stopped interacting and even stopped meeting me at the door when I arrive home from work ( something she has done every day since she was a puppy). She was at the Vet office for 5 days. Because of her age, I thought this could be the end. Then my vet started her on Royal Canin and within a few days her symptoms started to resolve. The next day after bringing her home she started meeting me at the door again. Thanks for giving my dog her smile back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped keep our dog alive Our yorkie,Sam, was diagnosed with intestinal lymphangiectasis at the University of MN in 2007. We were told we would be lucky if he lived another 2 years. He was 3. Sam passed away last December. He would have been 14 in January. The “U” prescribed this food and he loved it and ate either it or the canned version the rest of his life. Between this food and the constant monitoring of the vet of his bloodwork,we surprised everyone on how long he stayed with us. He loved the taste and looked forward to every meal. For that matter, our new puppy wanted this kibble as a treat for going outside! I can’t say enough good things about Royal Canin.
