Product Information
Benefits

Struvite Dissolution
Provides nutrition that aids in the management of pure struvite uroliths.

Moderate Calorie
Moderate calorie content, compared to canine Urinary SO, to help maintain ideal weight.

Urine Dilution
Increasing the urine volume simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with calcium oxalate and struvite crystals.

Low RSS
Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology predicts the crystallization potential of urine; RSS is used to develop diets that lower the concentration of ions contributing to struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

Product Reviews
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet ® Canine Urinary SO ® Moderate Calorie canned dog food Morsels in Gravy is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 201.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dr.Reccomended Pet Approved Our toy poodle had to have emergency surgery for bladder stones. He was in the hospital for 8 long days. Our vet, recommended Royal Canine Urinary SO Moderate calorie and said our lil guy had to be on it the rest of his life. I was worried that he might not like it as he is a picky eater. He absolutly loves this food both dry and canned versions We used to have to even hand feed him but now he will even eat on his own and he licks the plate clean. Not only has it satisfied his taste but every six months we have to take him to get tested for crystals in his urine. Each time for almost two years now, he has had a great report. We truly thank God for royal canine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver My dog, Muffy, has been on Royal Canin Urinary diet for approximately 3 years. Prior to that, Muffy had 2 surgeries for bladder stones. She's only 4-1/2 years old. In her last surgery, she almost died. We knew she couldn't go through another surgery. Our wonderful Dr. put her on Royal Canin Urinary SO. It has worked!! We're on autoship with Chewey's and they've been wonderful. We're always notified when the order will be shipped and then again when it is shipped. If ever there's a problem, Chewey's is right on top of it. We couldn't ask for better results or better service. Without her special diet, Muffy wouldn't be with us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Girls Love It! They Just Eat It Up! One of my two Havanese girls from the same littler got very expensive kidney stones at age two after eating very expensive "designer dog food." Since then, at our trusted vet's suggestion, we switched to Royal Canin Urinary SO. Thank goodness! We are both disabled, retired on disability and we are happy and healthy since our babies have stayed happy and healthy for the last four years! We owe it to Royal Canin! It might cost a little more, but it has saved us a lot of money!. Thanks, Royal Canin! from both of us and little Lucy and Ethel (mischief-makers just like their names imply).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works and my dog likes it! My dog, Abby, is now 7 1/2 years old and has been on this diet for several years. Our vet recommended this product because she found crystals in Abby's urine plus Abby would get periodic urinary tract infections. Abby has been healthy and she likes the food. I periodically add supplements (vegetables and rice) to spice up her diet a bit since I would probably get bored eating the same food all the time. Whenever I put the bowl down she is ready to eat and finishes it every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product!!! Gatsby has been on Royal Canin Urinary SO now for 2 years and he loves this food! With his chronic "stone" problem we have to dilute it down with water but he still doesn't seem to mind. Great product!!! Thank you..... This is an old photo but one of my favorites! And he loves to bring in the newspaper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pup says no go My bichon frise has refused the SO can food and by the looks of it I would too. It’s a harder wet, compacted food. The wet part hardly exists. I purchased an expensive case of the SO moderate food since she is a little overweight and it sounded better “in gravy”. It does look better. One piece went in her mouth and got spit out. She will eat the hard food when starving. All I can say is it’s terrible that she can’t have anything she wants. I feel terrible forcing this on her when all she really wants are her bones back and a little bit of chicken. This bladder stone thing is terrible. Design a hard bone they can tear apart and eat please. I would rather cook her every meal then give this food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life saving! My baby Romeo has been eating this for about 2 year's now. His doctor recommended this canned dog food after he had to have emergency surgery to remove these sand like granule crystals that were blocking him from urinating. They had to make him a new hole to urinate from, so now he urinates like a female He's not allowed to ever in his life eat anything else, not even a treat. I also have to wipe him with an unscented baby wipe after he urinates from here on out. Obviously his doctor saved his life that day but since then, the Urinary SO canned canine dog food has saved him from those sand granule crystals from ever coming back, this dog food has kept my pug Romeo, my little baby alive and healthy ever since and I am eternally greatful for that. Sincerely Romeo's mom.
