Product Reviews
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet ® Feline Gastrointestinal Fiber Response dry cat food 8.8 lb bag is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 339.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This food saved 3 lives! I have 3 cats that developed intestinal issues, and we're also affected by urinary stones. After several very expensive vet trips, procedures, and overnight vet visits it was recommended by my vet that they go on this food. It may say gastrointestinal, but it has the same ingredients needed to prevent urinary stones. In the 3 years they have been on this food, not one of my 3 boys has had a vet visit for anything other than normal checkups. The food is a little expensive, but has saved me a ton in vet bills! I also have 3 very happy, healthy kitties that love their food. They are all over 10 years old, but still have the energy of kittens. I look forward to many more years of fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disabled Cat Pooping Like Normal! I have a disabled 8 year old cat that doesn't walk, she scoots to get around. She is happy as can be except her ongoing constipation issues. She sits on her rump all day and stool gets very hard and difficult to pass due to the physical abnormality. I decided to try this food instead of adding stool softening medications and risking diarrhea by overcompensating. Within days she started producing large stools regularly with ease. No more straining or tiny hard poo. She seems happier for it, and loves the taste of the food. In fact, the other cats try and eat it too. I am highly satisfied and will continue to use the product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my Cat Precious!! My cat Precious of eleven years, has Mega Colon and suffered for months with constipation even with Meds. Our Vet heard about this food and recommended it. She now has no constipation issues and is living life to the fullest. This food saved her life and ours as well. With all the pet bills and meds we all were miserable. It took a toll on all our lives, but we never considered putting her down...we just kept looking for ways to make her well. Whoever made this food, we deeply thank you from the bottom of our heart, it is truly miracle food. Angela and Precious

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A miracle in our lives My cat struggled for one year with severe constipation. We tried all the medicines, a natural diet, different types of dry food and nothing seemed to work. He went in and out of the hospital and was on enemas at least one a week. Then we found Royal Canin GastroIntestinal Fiber Response and it was as if he had never had any issues at all. He goes to the sand box twice a day and is now living a happy, active life without any drugs. No visits to the hospital in months now. This is very important food, it makes a huge difference in many cat's lives. I can even say that my cat would not be alive without it. THANK YOU!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Canin Saved my Cat's Life I was first introduced to the Royal Canin GI Fiber Response diet when my cat Nikki stopped having bowel movements. It took three visits to the vet to get her cleaned out, manually. Needless to say this was very stressful for both Nikki and myself. I hated to see her so uncomfortable. It has been two years since Nikki's constipation issues started. She has been on this Royal Canin formula ever since and I have been jealous of her bowel movements with every litter box cleanup. She is spunky, regular, and healthy at nearly 20 years young. I truly believe this diet not only saved Nikki's life but it has improved her quality of life and given me more years to enjoy her companionship. Only the best for my Nikki kitty who was pulled from a dumpster at seven weeks old

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Results Our two year old cat "Sidney" developed reoccurring constipation problems causing him extreme discomfort. I would be beside myself and immediately head for the veterinarian's office. Our vet relieved his constipation and when Sidney recovered we went home. Our vet looked at various treatment options. I did not favor surgery or putting a two year old cat on medications for the rest of his life. Our vet had an idea and called the veterinary staff at Royal Canin. The vet at Royal Canin recommended Gastrointestinal Blend. It worked like magic. Almost four years now with no reoccurrance. Thank you Royal Canin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This food works miracles I have a cat with mega colon and severe constipation. This food is the only thing that really helps his situation entirely. I have literally tried everything including pumpkin and Lactulose. All he needs is this fiber response dry food. I am writing the review to thank Royal Canin for making this miracle formula that treats mega colon. Thank you !! I don't know what I would do without it. He would be going to the Vet all the time for a "clean out". My veterinarian put my cat on this about 5 years ago. The only thing I don't like is some of the ingredients, but the alternative is worse. The main thing is, it Works!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands Down THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD FOR PROBLEMS Thank GOD I have a vet tech friend who told me a RC rep had just come in to their office to tell them about this food. I went right away to my vet and told them I want a script for it. My cat was very constipated and after hundreds of dollars in the vet hosp this food has saved my baby. I love this food and will continue to tell as many people as I can how this food saved Melody and is the best! If I could do a commercial for it I would. JUST BUY IT! I can't not believe how much it helps her. No more trips to the vet for a problem.
