Rated 1 out of 5 by from My cats wouldn't touch it My cats wouldn't touch it and to purchase the dry food was waaay too expensive especially if the cat that needed it wasn't going to eat it. She had been on appetite stimulates and refused to eat it even after not eating for two days. I ended up giving her some of her regular dry food just so she didn't continue to starve herself. Hopefully I can return what I had already bought. If your cat likes it, I'm sure it's great but my cats are used to getting the filets and don't typically eat the pâté. I didn't know Royal Canin had the meaty bits but I guess PetSmart didn't carry it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complete Diet for my IBD Diagnosed Kitty I started this prescription, Royal Canin Veterinary Diet ® Feline Gastrointestinal High Energy canned cat food when my Siberian kitten started having digestive issues and was diagnosed with IBD. It was great to have Royal Canin to turn to for her prescription needs for food. She was also prescribed the dry gastrointestinal high calorie food. There was an immediate difference in her mood, appetite and less hiding. Within months, you could see her growth and she went from struggling to thriving! Thank you for giving me back my beautiful baby and helping her feel better. She just turned 1 year and we will always be on Royal Canin Prescription food to keep her belly happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver Winston, aka Winnie the Pooh and deformed from birth, has chronic diarrhea. With excellent vet care, his Royal Canin diet along with daily fiber pills has changed his life. As you can imagine, I couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tasty! Cats LOVE it Our veterinarian recommended this diet for two of our kitties who were having some intestinal problems. Not only did they LOVE it- one of the cats who had not been eating thought it was the best thing he ever ate (except for steak of course). We are very happy with this product since it does exactly what it is meant to do and must taste really good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A double life saver! Both of my Siamese cats have pancreatitis and inflammatory bowel disease, so finding a high quality food that they both could eat was critical. One cat predominantly vomits and the other cat suffered from loose stool. Feeding them strictly Royal Canin GI High Energy canned food along with mediation management has made it possible for me to stabilize both cats, help them maintain their weight and improve their quality of life. Both cats started eating the Royal Canin canned food without any problems and both continue to maintain a good appetite. As a Chiropractor, I am very concerned about the quality of food I eat and the quality of food I feed to my cats. I was impressed to learn about the lengthy history of research that stands behind Royal Canin products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped my kitty! I have three cats total, and two of them need prescription food. One needs a food with the SO factor to prevent bladder crystals, and another has a very, very hard time putting on weight due to bowel issues. This food allows me to feed the same food for all three cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped my diabetic cat regain the weight he lost 10-year old Cinnamon was diagnosed as diabetic in May 2014 after losing a lot of weight with dental problems, but now that he is on a good dose of insulin and eating this food, he is regaining the weight he lost. I steer him to the dry formula of this food in between his morning and evening cans of Gastrointestinal High Energy. The other kitties in the family love this food too, and it is a challenge protecting it so Cinnamon can have it to himself!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well! My cat has been eating this food for a year now after being diagnosed with IBD. His body doesn't move food along the way it should and this food has greatly helped him in that process.
