Rated 5 out of 5 by from Select Protein Duck canned feline food My cat has pancreatitis and IBD. The Select Protein line has been such a blessing for my cat and his gut issues. Before he was diagnosed he had been eating the SO Urinary kibble because of a chronic struvite crystals problem so was very worried about changing his food but had no choice if I wanted him to get better. He has had the duck and the venison and loves them both and they also have the SO factor in this food as well. I have the utmost confindence in Royal Canin's veterinary formula products. He has less intestinal problems and no bladder flare-ups anymore either. Would not feed him any other brand. It is worth every penny!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Impossible to find My cat loves this food and it has solved her allergy issues. I’ve used it for three years and it has always been hard to find. I’ve been ordering cases from Chewy, which was reliable until this month, when they canceled my shipment due to lack of supply. Ordered from Smith and Foster and they cancelled due to lack of supply. Now everyone on the internet is out. My cat depends on this food but now I’m going to have to switch and hope she doesn’t have a reaction. This stuff is expensive so get your supply chain worked out or give people notice if you are discontinuing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Veterinarian recommended this food for my cat, because everything I was giving her was making her sick. She would throw up everything. This made her drink more water making urinate more and very hard stool. Since she has been eating this food, she can't wait for me to feed her, she has not been sick her coat is healthier looking, and she plays more. She does not urinate so much and her stools are softer and more normal looking. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more food allergies! My cat is 12 years old. She had been vomiting after eating for most of her adult life. She had dandruff. I tried numerous brands of cat food. I cooked food for her at home. No cat food stopped the symptoms. The veterinarian recommended Royal Canin Veterinary diet. My cat loves the Duck with Pea. I have been feeding the Duck to her for about three months. Vomiting is very rare now, and no more dandruff. The Venison and the Rabbit made her sick. I highly recommend the Duck and Pea. What a blessing to find a food she is not allergic to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it. My 7 month old Tonkenese was having skin issues. Licking his fur off. We suspected an allergy. Vet recommended PD and also a limited protein dry food. It has only been a couple weeks, but I think he is licking less. It is expensive but worth it if that's all he needed was a diet change. Mind you I have three cats and they all like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from only selected protein canned food my cat eat. I have tried Rabbit and Venison but she did not like them. I don't recommend unless your kitty has issue. If your kitty has problem, I would recommend trying Rabbit or Venison since Duck is high in fat.
