Product Information

Struvite Dissolution
Provides nutrition that aids in the management of pure struvite uroliths.

Urine Dilution
Increasing the urine volume simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with calcium oxalate and struvite crystals.

Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology predicts the crystallization potential of urine; RSS is used to develop diets that lower the concentration of ions contributing to struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

Controlled Magnesium
Reduced level of magnesium, a natural component of struvite stones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver Me and my fiancé went through a lot of different types of cat food before our "fur child" Socks finally found something he loved. Originally we would just buy what was on sale and it ended up costing more when he started having urinary issues. This food was the vets last resort before surgery and it saved my cats life as well as saving us a ton of money and he's been ok since. Not only does he love this food he, actually wakes me up in the morning (walking on top of me) so I can feed him. It's almost like he's asking for it specifically. I thank your company and the marvelous things it has done for our family. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved My Cat's Life! After nearly dying from a severe urinary blockage, my vet recommended that my cat, Jazz, be put on Royal Canin's Urinary SO formula for the rest of his life. At first, I was nervous that Jazz would not like his new diet, but he quickly finished his first dish and has eaten it ever since. Royal Canin's food has helped Jazz stay happy and healthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped my cats Over 10 years ago I had a cat that kept getting urinary blockages. The vet sold me another brand to treat it and my cat absolutely hated it. He ended up having another blockage after having a PU done. The new vet put him on this food and he never had another issue until the day he passed. Also had 4 other cats get blocked and immediately went on this food. They too never had another blockage and the last one just passed away at age 18. This past week just had our newest kitty get blocked and he is now on this diet. Like all my other cats he loves the taste of it and actually eats it. Heres to hoping this food does what it did with my other cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST PRODUCT for kitties with URINARY ISSUES!!! Started using this product after spending thousands of dollars on multiple trips to the Vet for urinary blockage(s) for my ten year old male cat (neutered). Tried every single "trick of the trade", including the use of dreaded steroids, to no avail. Look no further... HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE VET FOR URINARY ISSUES IN OVER TWO YEARS. So pleased AND impressed with the possitive results. Thanks Royal Canin!!! P.S. Julius says "MEOW"!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it! When you have special needs kitties, it makes it caring for them so much easier when they love their food. My one kitty has bilateral kidney stones. She has been on Feline Urinary S/O canned food more than 4 years and continues to maintain good health. I attribute this directly to her prescription diet. I have another kitty on the same diet for a prior urinary obstruction. He is in good health as well. It's a challenge keeping the other cats from stealing their food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has kept my cat crystal free My cat Chubbs has been on this food for the last 5 years, and I would not dare switch him to another food. I know there are some other urinary diets from other brands that produce vet diets and are much less expensive however, I will always go with this food since it is the best available. Chubbs has been crystal free since starting this protocol and enjoys the food as you can see from the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life saving My cat has crystals disease (FLUTD) I was told he would have to eat prescription food for the rest of his life. I started out giving him dry prescription food which aggravated his condition, I tired Hills Science Diet wet and it was gross. I then tried Royal Canine Urinary S/O both the pate and the chunks and they are both very palatable, I buy this food exclusively for my cat and it controls his urinary disease.I would advise anyone with a pet with urinary disease to use wet food only and use the Royal Canin S/O.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my cat I have two cats one 14 and the other 10 years old. Both are neutered males. I have always had neutered male cats (prefer tomcats). Unfortunately with neutered males there is problems with urinary tract infections. With my two boys that I have now I decided to try and stay ahead of the game and place both on various foods for urinary tract infections. Well my oldest cat had two urinary tract infections with other foods. I placed him on Royal Canin Urinary SO can about five years ago and he has NOT had another urinary tract infection. Another bonus feature is that he no longer coughs up fur balls! My younger boy is also on Royal Canin Urinary SO dry and he maybe my first neutered male that will not suffer through a urinary tract infection!
