Contains high levels of fiber to help cats feel full and maintain an ideal weight

Meets aging cats’ dietary needs with a vitality complex and balanced vitamins and minerals

Enriched with L-carnitine to support fat metabolism and help manage weight

Does your cat meow for more even after they've emptied their bowl? They may not be feeling full. That’s because of a common hormonal change that happens after a cat is spayed or neutered, causing a spike in hunger and decline in energy needs. This change lasts all throughout adulthood, and could lead to your cat putting on excess pounds

Royal Canin Appetite Control Spayed/Neutered 7+ dry cat food is specifically tailored for the unique nutritional needs of your older cat (and is the perfect transition from the Royal Canin Spayed/Neutered adult diet). This formula is designed with an exclusive vitality complex made of vitamins and minerals, containing EPA and DHA, to keep your cat active and strong in their later years. Adapted phosphorus levels help support renal health. High levels of fibers help give your cat the feeling of fullness. And L-carnitine keeps that metabolism working hard, burning through calories so your cat can stay at a healthy weight. Try pairing with Royal Canin Appetite Control Spayed/Neutered wet cat food for a meal your cat will love.

Healthier cat, Happier owner!

I started feeding this to my 7 year old tuxedo cat after she gained constant weight on her old brand. Since I've been feeding Royal Canin, I've noticed a huge change in my cat. She seems to have more energy to play, even running up and down the hall! My adult cat is a kitten again with this food! She's starting to loose weight, and I've even noticed she has less dandruff in her fur than before. On top of that, she LOVES the taste! To change her food gradually I fed half a portion of Royal Canin with half a portion of her old food for a week. She would pick around her old food and eat the Royal Canin from the first day I offered it. It also seems to be gentle on her sensitive stomach. Having a happier, healthier cat has made me a happier owner! Thanks RC!

She loves the taste, and lost weight!

My vet said my cat needed to loose some weight. She suggested a higher fiber diet to help. I looked at several cat foods online, and settled on this because it had higher fiber than what I had been feeding my cat. By the time we finished the first bag, I could see a difference. The weight change didn't happen right away, buy it DID happen by the time we got to the 3rd bag. I guess it was happening so gradually I didn't notice it at first. Her harness for outdoor walking fits MUCH better, and even her collar has loosened up from the weight loss. I also noticed she had more energy! She just turned 7 and plays like a much younger cat now. She was also prone to dandruff, and her skin and coat even look healthier after switching to this food. She also had always had a vomiting issue, and she can eat this food. And she LOVES the taste! I'm in process of switching since her weight loss has done so well. But I'm sticking with the RC brand from now on. IF my vet says she needs to loose more weight at her next checkup, I'll feed this for a while longer to get her to loose more. I'm so happy it worked so well! It also helped with her constant begging for food.

She LOVES it!

My 1 year old Russian Blue loves to eat. The problem is she loves it too much. She was starting to become overweight at 9 months and our veterinarian switched her to the Appetite Control for spayed/neutered from her Royal Canin Kitten food. She loves the taste of this food just as much as the kitten food. We have a feeder that is hooked up to our home wifi that feeds her at specific intervals and she stalks the feeder waiting for her food. Since switching she has been maintaining a healthy weight. Keeping her happy and healthy is our top priority!

Everybody likes this food!

We have three cats, ranging in age from 7 to 18, and all of the Boys really like this food. We've been pleased with their coats, and their stable weights, in spite of -- um -- more and longer naps.

HORRIBLE FOOD!!

this food has a ton of fillers in it. I have learned recently that dogs and cats should not have corn, wheat or soy, or by-products. no pet should have any food with fillers in it. its like feeding candy to your child. not healthy for your child right? well its not healthy for you pet. read the ingredients before you buy pet food.
