Promotes digestive health and optimal stool quality with highly digestible proteins and prebiotics

High calorie content allows cats to eat small meal portions and still get the nutrition they need

Enriched with a blend of soluble and insoluble fibers for GI health

Supports urinary health with the exclusive S/O Index, which creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder

You’ve tried everything to help with your cat's GI issues, whether those are vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of appetite. And while bland homemade diets are often used for digestive upsets, your cat could be missing some key nutrients to help them fully recover. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This palatable, digestible GI cat food supports digestive health with high fat and calorie content, so you can feed your cat small portions to support their sensitive stomach. This also helps underweight cats or cats who are eating less get the calories they need. A combination of highly digestible proteins and prebiotics helps maintain the balance of good bacteria in the gut. A blend of dietary fibers supports healthy digestion for optimal stool quality. Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, from fish oil help nourish and soothe the GI tract. And the exclusive S/O Index supports urinary health by creating an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder. Ask your veterinarian about pairing this diet with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Energy wet cat food as well as complementing with Gastrointestinal cat treats.

I rescued my kitten Grinch from animal shelter at 12 weeks old. He had diarrhea from the beginning. Many trips to vet, on antibiotics, probiotics, different foods and test after test to see what was wrong. Nothing worked. He was not gaining weight, his fur was very wirey. Now 7 months later trying Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Energy dry food.... O M G ...Its nothing more than miraculous.., 1 day of eating this food and it is the first time since he was a baby he is now going normal, no more diarrhea ..... I am still in shock, I have never seen anything that has had such drastic effects, this is an amazing product and I can say a life saver for my kitten who now 1 week later is gaining weight, fur is smooth he is very playful. AMAZING.... Thank you Royal Canin

Answer to our prayers

We fed our kitty who has IBD a competitor's food for many years. It just wasn't cutting it anymore after a few changes to the formula. This was recommended and our kitty is doing so well on this diet. He even likes it much better!

Our vet put one of our bobtail cats on this food and her health improved immediately. All of our bobtail breeds, our Maine Coons, and our Norwegian Forest Cat are very healthy on this food.

Good foods for a sensitive stomach

My cat was vomiting for 2 days so we took her to a vet. He prescribed us antibiotics and recommended Royal Canin Veterinary Diet. So she eats it since then. No complaints so far, no GI tract problem, no diarrhea.

Life changing!

I bought this food a couple of months ago after my veterinarian recommended it after seeing a photo of my cats bowl movement. I have been fighting this issue with my Persian since a kitten and she is 13 years old today. I have tried a few different foods and been given metrodizole but still no luck until this food! This product has not only been life changing for my cat and for me but she even seems happier and healthier. I have not had any issues with her BM's since I have switched. I just wish I would have started this food a lot sooner!!!

Tasty crunchies!

My boy Wesley loves these crunches! When the vet told me that he had to be on rx food I was very worried that he would refuse it. But in fact he asks for it! Thank you for making a dry food that is good for my boy's IBD.
