Helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for bladder health

Supports urinary health with an exclusive S/O Index, and creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder

Helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

With nearly 50 years of scientific research and observation, Royal Canin continues to deliver targeted nutrition to feed every pet’s magnificence. Not satisfied? Then neither are we. Our veterinary exclusive formulas are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. (Just contact us for more details.)

Pukes it back up!!

My male cat has bladder stones and we are making progress with the RC SO canned food, but he is not able to keep the dry food down. Thank goodness the vet let me return the dry so I wasn't out $30.

Great Food!

I have a cat that has had a lot of urinary problems and had to have surgery about 5 years ago. He was put on special Urinary Care food and did well the first 3 years. But the last 2 years KiKi has had more issues with urinary problems. He has somewhat lost his taste for the food he was on so that prompted me to search it out more. Now while this is early on as he hasn't been on it very long I noticed a distinct difference as he just gobbled this down and nothing was left. I have an automatic feeder and I do the first meal that way and usually there is some left in the bowl after that meal but there was none left with this food.

Vet recommended

After rushing our male cat to the animal hospital over the weekend for a blocked urinary tract, she informed us he needed to be on this special food. It's only been a few days, but he does enjoy the food. I'm hoping it keeps the blockage from recurring. The food is more expensive, but if it keeps my cat from that horrible suffering, I'll keep buying it.

Wonderful product!

A few months ago my cat was diagnosed with Crystals. He was in the hospital for about a week. Once he came home I switched his food. I have 3 other inside cats and they are now all on this diet. They were picky at first but now all love it! My guy diagnosed with crystals has not had any issues sense and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Food is Amazing!!!!

The first year I had my baby girl we were in the vets office every 3 weeks with an UTI! We even took her to see a specialist! They could not figure out what was wrong with her. She had ultrasounds, a camera in her, labs, etc. They was fixing to do exploratory surgery on her but decided to put her on this food. In 4 years she has only had 2 UTI’S!!!!! Early this year she started where she wouldn’t eat. I being a paranoid mom was freaking out. I tried everything to try and get her to eat. I did not want to take her off the food. One day I decided to soak it in hot water and now she eats every single day!! She is a little extra so I have to hand feed her but this mom doesn’t mind. Thank you for keeping my baby girl healthy

It works.

Whenever I bring my cat off this food his urinary issues relapse and God coat is dry and matted. On it, he I'd healthy, happy, and his coat is soft. I wont take him off it again- but it really hurts my wallet. That's the only reason I give it a 4, otherwise full 5.

My fury male feline was diagnosed with Crystal's a few years back. I changed his diet immediately and put him on the SO urinary tract dry formula. I feed him twice a day. Once the SO in the morning and regular wet food for dinner and he's not had any problems since we altered his diet. So thankful!

Great Maintenance

I feed this as a maintenance food to cats that have had UTI problems. They love it, and it does a great job in preventing UTI related incidents.

great food

My cat loves this food which is great since he needs it to keep crystals from forming in his bladder. It seems to work very well since we have had no problems since he has been on it.
