Feline Urinary So™ Dry Cat Food

Feline Urinary SO is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.

The benefits

  • Provides nutrition that aids in the management of pure struvite uroliths.
  • Increasing the urine volume simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with calcium oxalate and struvite crystals.
  • Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology predicts the crystallization potential of urine; RSS is used to develop diets that lower the concentration of ions contributing to struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

It works.

Whenever I bring my cat off this food his urinary issues relapse and God coat is dry and matted. On it, he I'd healthy, happy, and his coat is soft. I wont take him off it again- but it really hurts my wallet. That's the only reason I give it a 4, otherwise full 5.

My fury male feline was diagnosed with Crystal's a few years back. I changed his diet immediately and put him on the SO urinary tract dry formula. I feed him twice a day. Once the SO in the morning and regular wet food for dinner and he's not had any problems since we altered his diet. So thankful!

Great Maintenance

I feed this as a maintenance food to cats that have had UTI problems. They love it, and it does a great job in preventing UTI related incidents.

great food

My cat loves this food which is great since he needs it to keep crystals from forming in his bladder. It seems to work very well since we have had no problems since he has been on it.

Does it's job but too many carbs

This food has successfully controlled the struvite crystals suffered by my two sibling cats. Yay! They like it, which is terrific, but I think the carb content is about twice what it should be for healthy kitty weight. Obligate carnivores aren't built for 40% carb content and my cats are now fat despite small portions.

Life Saving Food

About 10 years ago my male cat had several UTIs. My veterinarian put him on Feline Urinary SO and he never had another one. He is now 15 1/2 years old. Without this food, he would have died a long time ago. I'm very grateful to Royal Canin.

It Works

My cats eat it and they don't end up in the emergency room with a plugged up urinary tract (been there done that with cheap food). Worth the money.

I brought Mr. Foo home as a kitten and as he started to grow up he started to have urinary tract issues. A visit to the vet and the course of antibiotics would seemingly clear things up. But this became a recurring problem, and after a few more times and the threat of surgery(ouch-don't ask), the vet put him on a Royal Canin SO diet. Not only has this benefited his well-being but mine also, not to mention the carpet. The cost of the Royal Canin diet is so worth it compared to the money saved from vet bills, prescriptions, Etc.
Royal Canin response
Wonderful to hear that Mr Foo is doing well with the Urinary SO
