My Picky Eskimo loves it!

My cat is so picky yet he is overweight.. he only liked to eat the lower quality cat foods and turned his nose up at everything I tried to feed him. I then did some research and bought a case of ROYAL CANIN® - Feline Weight Control in Gel Canned Cat Food and he loved it! Cleaned his bowl and wanted more of course. He has now been on this formula for 6 months and he has lost 2lbs. He is more active, his coat look great and I am so happy with his progress in weight loss. I highly recommend ROYAL CANIN® - Feline Weight Control in Gel Canned Cat Food.

My Cats Aren't Fat

My cats seem to really like this diet. The reason for 4 stars is that I go through it more quickly because it has fewer kcal per can than the Adult Feline did. I miss the Adult Feline. My cats changed diets twice before finding one they like as much at the Adult Feline. I am very glad my cats like this so much but, seriously, if this food gets discontinued, I will be out of SO index options that aren't prescription diets.

Should have looked more closely at ingredients.

I trusted my vets suggestion to buy this brand for my fat kitty and that was a big mistake. Huge! When the 1st ingredient is water, the second a by-product and the 3rd is any kind of liver you know already there is something wrong with this picture. Not until you get all the way to the 6th ingredient do you actually get some real meat, Salmon. There rest is wheat flour and cellulose and a bunch of fillers and stuff your cat doesn't need that's for sure. So I did my own research and found out I've made a lot of mistakes buying my fur babys food. Expensive doesnt always mean better. If you really want to learn what's best for your baby check out catinfo.org. Trust me, you'll be really glad you did. Big companies with a lot of advertising money are not going to pull the wool over the eyes of this kitty's mommy!!

Cats love it

I have been feeding this food to both of my cats for several years now. They love the taste. This food has helped them to maintain a lean body condition, which is especially important because they both have heart disease. They are now 9 years old, and are very healthy.
