Promotes digestive health and optimal stool quality with highly digestible proteins and prebiotics

High calorie content allows dogs to eat small meal portions and still get the nutrition they need

Helps manage GI health with omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and a blend of soluble and insoluble fibers

High palatability to satisfy decreased appetites

You’ve tried everything to help with your dog's GI issues, whether those are vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of appetite. And while bland homemade diets are often used for digestive upsets, your dog could be missing some key nutrients to help him fully recover. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This palatable, digestible wet dog food supports digestive health with high fat and calorie content, so you can feed your dog small portions to support his sensitive stomach. This also helps underweight dogs or dogs who are eating less get the calories that they need. Prebiotics help maintain the balance of good bacteria in the gut. A blend of dietary fibers supports healthy digestion for optimal stool quality. Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, from fish oil help soothe the GI tract. And a precise blend of antioxidants supports a healthy immune system. Ask your veterinarian about pairing this wet dog food with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal dry dog food (formerly Gastrointestinal High Energy) as a complement to your dog’s daily diet.

Rylee

My dog Rylee will be 17 this coming June. She is a mix of poodle and cocker spaniel. The last 6months she was vomiting and diarrhea and not wanting to eat her food The vet recommended this food and she loves it. No problems at all. She is more energetic, playful, and walking on longer walks. I am so glad that I found a dog food that she loves and will keep her on it for as long as she eats it.

Perfect for fussy eaters

We were prescribed this for our rescue dog, she's 10 and has a couple of health problems and had unexplainable diarrhea for over a week, she was eating but had lost her usual appetite. A little bowl of this and she was back to her usual self, her tummy is better, her energy is up and she would just continue eating if she had the option! She's back at the kitchen door waiting patiently for her food, rather than being coaxed from the sofa to come and eat. She even eats it all with her medication included in it. I was super sceptical before as she's fussy and usually won't eat canned food and we discussed this with the vet but she absolutely loves it!

Perfect match!

My German Shepherd has mega esophagus and Addison’s disease and it’s almost as if this food was made for her and helps me keep weight on her.

Great food

Our German Shepherd has a very sensitive stomach and the vet recommended this food for her. She has been eating this for 2 years and her digestive issues are under control. She loves the treats, too.

My two dogs love this food!

My 13 year old (and almost 9 years diabetic) and my 6 year old recent rescue that had a broken jaw are both on this food and love it. My old pup had stopped eating the lowfat gastrointestinal food and the switch to this food was the recommendation from our vet. Our new dog of course cannot yet eat dry food but she loves this wet food!

No more throwing up!

My vet recommended/prescribed the Gastrointestinal Diet for my Jack Russel/Chihuahua who suffers from acid reflux. The special food + 2 mg famotidine twice daily has her in check. Instead of vomiting every other day, it is once every 3-4 months.
