Promotes digestive health and optimal stool quality with highly digestible proteins and prebiotics

High calorie content allows dogs to eat small meal portions and still get the nutrition they need

Enriched with a blend of soluble and insoluble fibers for healthy GI transit

Helps manage GI health with omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA

You’ve tried everything to help with your dog's GI issues, whether those are vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of appetite. And while bland homemade diets are often used for digestive upsets, your dog could be missing some key nutrients to help them fully recover. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This palatable, digestible wet dog food supports digestive health with high fat and calorie content, so you can feed your dog small portions to support their sensitive stomach. This also helps underweight dogs or dogs who are eating less get the calories they need. A combination of highly digestible proteins and prebiotics helps maintain the balance of good bacteria in the gut. A blend of dietary fibers supports healthy digestion for optimal stool quality. Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, from fish oil help soothe the GI tract. And a precise blend of antioxidants supports a healthy immune system. Ask your veterinarian about pairing this wet dog food with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Energy dry dog food as a complement to your dog’s daily diet.

Perfect match!

My German Shepherd has mega esophagus and Addison’s disease and it’s almost as if this food was made for her and helps me keep weight on her.

Great food

Our German Shepherd has a very sensitive stomach and the vet recommended this food for her. She has been eating this for 2 years and her digestive issues are under control. She loves the treats, too.

My two dogs love this food!

My 13 year old (and almost 9 years diabetic) and my 6 year old recent rescue that had a broken jaw are both on this food and love it. My old pup had stopped eating the lowfat gastrointestinal food and the switch to this food was the recommendation from our vet. Our new dog of course cannot yet eat dry food but she loves this wet food!

No more throwing up!

My vet recommended/prescribed the Gastrointestinal Diet for my Jack Russel/Chihuahua who suffers from acid reflux. The special food + 2 mg famotidine twice daily has her in check. Instead of vomiting every other day, it is once every 3-4 months.

Would love additional recipes

We switched from Hills I/D Diet to Royal Canin after the recent Hills I/D recall. Our pup seems to enjoy this product, but would love to see a stew option to give him a little more variety.
