Whether a veterinarian has determined through an elimination diet trial that your dog has food sensitivities or that he requires long-term support for his skin and GI issues, your vet recommended Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for a reason. This highly palatable diet is designed for adult dogs and puppies alike. It’s formulated with hydrolyzed proteins, which are composed of low molecular weight peptides, that can be absorbed in the digestive tract with a reduced risk of triggering an immune reaction. Optimal amounts of B vitamins and amino acids reinforce your dog’s skin barrier. Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA help promote healthy skin and coat. An exclusive blend of fibers helps support healthy digestion in dogs prone to digestive upsets, including diarrhea. And with strict manufacturing procedures to help avoid cross contamination, you can confidently feed Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP long-term to dogs with food sensitivities. Ask your vet about feeding your adult dog Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein wet dog food (formulated exclusively for adult dogs) as a complement and some Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Treats for his enjoyment.

MyYorkiepoo has never been this healthy!

After spending thousands of dollars on testing my yorkiepoo was diagnosed with a stomach issue and our vet recommended HP diet. The first brand wasn’t a hit and although he was longer vomiting daily he wouldn’t each much. The vet then suggested Royal Canin brand and he loved it. Four years later and he’s doing great. His coat is beautiful and he’s very healthy.

Shame

My dog responded very well to the hydrolyzed protein dry dog food after experiencing gastrointestinal issues. However, due to the backorder of the food that has been ongoing for the past month my dog has ran out of the royal canin food and been forced to eat food that is causing more GI upset. I will no longer purchase Royal Canin and have been researching other brands that cater to sensitive digestive systems.

AMAZNG Product!

My Tea cup yorkie has terrible allergies and has yeast infection over yeast infection and so much skin irritation. I changed him to this product per my doctors recommendation and after 3 weeks AMAZING changes. My dog has been on the product for over 2 months now and no longer needs medicated shampoo his skin is no longer red, sweaty or smelly and no more constant scratching. I hope in another month or so I can stop the allergy shots. I highly recommend this product for any dog with allergies. I spent so much money on allergy meds, medicated shampoos, and skin tests and this food cured it all!

Allergy, led me down to this product

Have a French Bulldog puppy o has allergy issues and starts scratching, got him a cytopoint shot and switched him to this food. Thought it might have been environmental, but my vet asked me to give this a try and it has worked wonders, he eats it without issues and 4 months after his initial shot, he hasn't received another.

Terrible GI problems after switching to HP dry

Wondering if there is truth to the comment that the larger sized bag (25.3 lb) causes gastro problems. I started feeding my dog Ultamino six weeks ago and it did wonders for her. My vet consulted with Royal Canin because I noticed she was drinking a lot more water. They suggested I switch her to HP. Well, I am halfway through a week long transition to HP and she is back to having awful GI issues. Have a vet visit upcoming. Going to recommend a switch back to Ultamino.

Changing the formulas

The large bag had been causing terrible gastro problems for my dog. The colour , and shape is also different then the smaller bag .the large bag is dark brown and flatter. When i buy the smaller bag the colour of food is different and rounder . He has no problem with this . What is going on

No more gastrointestinal issues/ No more seizures

In 2019 my mixed breed welsh corgi/min schnauzer started have digestive issue and seizures. The seizures were every 3 months digestive issues monthly. After several vet visits, ultrasound, trial of another vet brand food with no relief we were given a prescription for this food and after a few weeks on it, no more gastrointestinal pain, bloody stools and no more seizures. Thank you Royal Canin this food has saved my dogs life.

Miracle in a bag

3 months ago my 15 month old Great Dane started having severe gastrointestinal attacks. Constant vomiting and diarrhea. Our local vet thought going back to a bland diet would resort the matter but the symptoms persisted and got worse. In a week we had made 2 emergency trips and thousands of dollars in lab work and diagnostics. Eventually, the vet specialist we saw recommended the Royal Canin HP. With all we had gone through with her I was hesitant but optimistic. It was a huge breakthrough! Her GI issues had cleared up and we finally got our healthy dog back. Her activity levels are back to normal and her coat and skin look better than ever. I’m so glad we were able to find this food and would highly recommend it!

From a bleeding intestine to happy, healthy dog!

Our standard poodle had a severe case of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and was having terrible allergies to different proteins, after a very scary trip to the animal hospital and thousands of dollars in treatment Royalty Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Diet was prescribed. I wasn't sure what we were going to do if this didn't work, it did! Zoey is happy, healthy and her old self again! The food is a lifesaver, the problem is the cost. It costs twice what other foods do and maintaining that long term is very difficult, there are never sales or coupons either. I wish if it was even a twice a year thing Royal Canin would pair with Chewy and run a great sale so families could stock up!
