Reinforces the skin barrier with essential nutrients to support healthy skin in dogs with skin sensitivity and irritation

Helps support healthy digestion with an exclusive blend of fibers and prebiotics

Whether a veterinarian has determined through an elimination diet trial that your dog has food sensitivities or that he requires long-term support for his skin and GI issues, your vet recommended Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for a reason. This highly palatable diet is designed for adult dogs and puppies alike. It’s formulated with hydrolyzed proteins, which are composed of low molecular weight peptides, that can be absorbed in the digestive tract with a reduced risk of triggering an immune reaction. Optimal amounts of B vitamins and amino acids reinforce your dog’s skin barrier. Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA help promote healthy skin and coat. An exclusive blend of fibers helps support healthy digestion in dogs prone to digestive upsets, including diarrhea. And with strict manufacturing procedures to help avoid cross contamination, you can confidently feed Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP long-term to dogs with food sensitivities. Ask your vet about feeding your adult dog Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein wet dog food (formulated exclusively for adult dogs) as a complement and some Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Treats for his enjoyment.

From a bleeding intestine to happy, healthy dog!

Our standard poodle had a severe case of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and was having terrible allergies to different proteins, after a very scary trip to the animal hospital and thousands of dollars in treatment Royalty Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Diet was prescribed. I wasn't sure what we were going to do if this didn't work, it did! Zoey is happy, healthy and her old self again! The food is a lifesaver, the problem is the cost. It costs twice what other foods do and maintaining that long term is very difficult, there are never sales or coupons either. I wish if it was even a twice a year thing Royal Canin would pair with Chewy and run a great sale so families could stock up!

What a difference

My two dogs suffer from severe IBD. For 2 years we made countless visits to ER. Then a specialist vet suggested try using this food. They still have issues but are few and far netween now. They are much happier and so are we!!. only wish there were coupons from time to time as we live on a fixed income.

A true miracle!

Our little guy had been vomiting more and more frequently. We tried smaller, more frequent meals and several different brands/formulas of dog food to no avail. Our little guy remained happy and active, but we were worried about the long term damage to his esophagus. Our vet prescribed the Hydrolyzed protein kibble. It's been a complete game-changer; he hasn't vomited once after his first meal. He's never been a picky eater, but it's a relief that he seems to enjoy this. It's a bit more expensive than most kibble, but completely worth the peace of mind and happy, vomit-free snuggles. Please don't ever discontinue this product!

A Huge Lifesaver for our fur baby!

After struggling for over a year to find out what was causing our Rotsky (Daisy) to throw up every time she ate, we finally got the best news from our vet, Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein. After the first month of switching to the Royal Canin HP Daisy hadn't thrown up once. Her coat and overall health improved so much. She's like a new puppy all over again. Thank you Royal Canin for your love of animals so much that you have created this life saving food. We are forever grateful, we've even started our 9yr old Lab/Pit mix on your adult formula and are seeing such great improvement in her health as well. From our family to you all, thank you!

Changed my dog's life!

We had been struggling with our Doberman's food issues - he had dry skin, lackluster coat, was underweight, and was generally miserable 24/7. He was reluctant to eat his food, which is highly unusual. After a GI biopsy, he was diagnosed with IBD - the worst case the surgeon had seen in a young dog (18 months.) We tried several treatment plans before coming to the conclusion that all animal proteins caused an adverse reaction. Our next step was hydrolyzed food (Hill's z/d) but it is derived from chicken and caused the same issues. The internist suggested RC's version of hydrolyzed food and it has made a huge difference. In a few weeks we began seeing the weight increase, the skin and coat becoming soft and shiny, and his energy was up. In a little over a year, he gained 20 pounds and is now at a healthy weight. He loves eating this stuff and the HP treats are a great thing to have for his obedience lessons. Not all hydrolyzed food is the same, and while this is far more expensive than the others, the results are real.

Dogs love it!

Two of my dogs have been on this prescription dog food for over a year now and it works great! One dog has an allergy to chicken. The other is over 10yrs old and was over weight. Both dogs have maintained a healthy weight it fills them up so they don’t over eat. Their coats are very shiny, they are active, and happy as can be! I’m so glad I made the switch to this food it has worked wonders for my fur babies. I would highly recommended this dog food to anyone!

Life Saver

Our dog has food allergies and her body doesn’t allow her to break down proteins without having severe gastrointestinal issues. Once our vet recommended the Royal Canine hydrolyzed dog food when she was a puppy, she has made exceptional growth without any food issues. This food was literally a life saver. Highly recommend!
