A few years ago, my 7 year old Shiba decided that Thanksgiving day would be a great day for a UTI. The emergency vet (pronounced 'really really expensive vet') fixed her up for the day, but recommended that I go for additional testing at her regular vet. Lo and behold, little Roxy was predisposed to crystals in her bladder. No good. Our vet prescribed the regular old Urinary SO food, which completely and absolutely cut out the UTIs and crystals. However, after Roxy got to be a bit chubby later on, we learned that part of its effectiveness at reducing crystals was due to its high fat content. Enter: this food. I will stick to the short version here. 0 UTIs, and a leaner, meaner shibe. My only complaint is that this food is veryyyyy expensive.

Great combo for urine & weight stability

We've been using this for several months. Our dog likes it and it does really well at keeping her weight stable as well as her urinary tract in good health.

Best Food Ever

I adopted a full blood female English lab (bottomless pit) who was very much overweight (86 lbs) and had frequent UTIs. Making sure to only feed recommended amount twice daily, with only snack being a couple of training treats, which are about size of pencil eraser, she has come down to 54 lbs. She is a completely different dog. Full of energy. Before all she did was waddle and pant. Now she is non stop and keeps up with my German shepherd. These photos are before and after 30 lbs weight loss. She maintains her weight on this food.

Great Diet!

This diet really helps manage my girls reoccurring crystals, all while helping her to loose a little extra weight and maintain her newly trim body. She loves the food. I really wish it came in canned!

A product that works!

This product works, and when a product works, regarding my dog's health and well-being, I don't have to worry. The product has a strong smell to it, which, while my corgi may love, my mother does not. :) I have gotten used to it, but it is stronger than most dry foods I've smelled. The product works, and I have learned places like PetSmart charge more than the competitors, so, to others, I would suggest to compare retailers and veterinarian offices for the fairest prices. The canned version of this product is a treat, every now and then, for a break from the dry version, which is what I use regularly.
