Customized palatability profile designed for individual preferences.

Cats and dogs with CKD can often have waxing and waning appetites. Since pets rely on more than just taste when determining what they will eat, ROYAL CANIN® RENAL SUPPORT diets include several aromatic profiles along with kibble texture, shape and size that can help stimulate decreased appetites. Available in multiple aromatic profiles, in both wet and dry food, the diets can be easily mixed or rotated to provide multiple feeding options.

Ate once!

Won't touch it again. It's too sticky and hard to swallow.

Great taste and safe for dogs with especial needs

I bought it a few weeks ago, after a long international flight of my dog, he was nervous and didn´t want to eat the dry food, I was concerned because he eat especial renal food. This presentation of Royal Canin Renal was a great option, my dog loves it and he start to eat again.

Dog loves the taste; Dangerous can

My elderly dog is in end stage kidney failure. He loves the taste! I have a difficult time with opening and removing food. I have a rather deep cut from doing so. I cannot find a comparison chart of Renal E and Renal T. Also, I cannot find a guide to feeding amounts. My dog seems to enjoy the flavor. I do wish there were no by-products.

Kidney disease

It’s hard to find a food that my chronic kidney disease pup likes. She goes back and forth with this food.

Meat by-products are no good

My dog has kidney disease and this food was suggested by my vet. But the ingredients include meat 'by products' which i won't give to my dogs (or me). Wish they had more wholesome ingredients. Trying another brand that has no by products. My vet was surprised by the ingredients too.

My dog loves it!

My 13 year old pomeranian was diagnosed with kidney disease, and started on Renal food (dry and canned) about 6 months ago. Her numbers have improved on it, and so has her appetite. My other dogs try to get her food whenever they get a chance!
