Helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for bladder health

Supports urinary health with an exclusive S/O Index, and creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder

Adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup

When your small dog has big urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your small dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Low Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And for dental health, the adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin treats to complement your dog’s diet.

At first it was great...

I've been using this food for 6 months now. Since the beginning, my dog wouldn't eat the dry food by itself. I mix it with the RC Urinary SO Morsels and Gravy. She loved her food for the first 4 months. Now she refuses to eat the mixed food, the dry food by itself, and the wet food by itself. Not sure why she is so turned off by it now, but it's unfortunate since it is so expensive. I'm going to have to try another brand, but this is what my vet originally recommended.

My dog loves it

And she’s very picky. She had bladder surgery a year ago, bladder was full of stones. So far she has not had any more problems.

My dog won't eat this...

My dog was prescribed this and she normally eats ANYTHING however she absolutely refuses to eat this and the canned version of this. Unfortunately I am out so much money between the two versions. I've tried several different ways to try to make it more appealing but no such luck. So upset :(

Excellent food for my dog!

My veterinarian recommended this food for my Shih Tzu since she was creating bladder stones and had to undergo surgery twice. Since she has been on this dog food, she has not gotten a bladder stone in over a year.
