Canine Urinary SO® Small Dog Dry Dog Food

Royal Canin Urinary SO is a veterinary-exclusive dry dog food for small dogs under 22 lbs. with urinary health concerns

The benefits

  • Helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones
  • Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for bladder health
  • Supports urinary health with an exclusive S/O Index, and creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder

Product description

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your small dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Low Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And for dental health, the adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin treats to complement your dog’s diet.

Excellent food for my dog!

My veterinarian recommended this food for my Shih Tzu since she was creating bladder stones and had to undergo surgery twice. Since she has been on this dog food, she has not gotten a bladder stone in over a year.

made a world of difference

My dog has been on this food (canned and dry) and has made a world of difference. I just can't say enough good things about this food. No more pain from her kidney stones. I really dont think my little dog would be with us today if I hadn't started this food. Thank you

Great food for our dog!

Over 7 years ago, our much loved mixed breed dog, Nutmeg, developed 3 large bladder stones. After they were removed, our vet recommended the Royal Canin Vet Diet Canine Urinary S/O Index so that she wouldn’t get any more bladder stones. I am happy to report that she has not had any further problems!
