Helps minimize the risk of reaction with a formula containing proteins entirely from vegetable origins

Promotes healthy skin and a shiny coat with added linoleic acid, zinc, and biotin

Provides digestive support with a specific nutrient blend

Whether a veterinarian has determined that your dog has food sensitivities or that they require long-term support for their skin issues, your vet recommended Royal Canin Vegetarian for a reason. This highly palatable dry food formula contains select vegetable proteins to minimize the risk of triggering a reaction. Added linoleic acid, zinc, and biotin support healthy skin and a shiny coat. Miracle Food!

My dog had explosive diarrhea for three months! I have tried at least 10 foods the doctor prescribed another companies HA food and nothing helped! Said my prayers and did my research and came upon Royal Canin vegetarian dry kibble. I got one doctor to listen to me and he agreed to try it. The first 25% (mixed in with the horrible food) started to change his bowel situation! I did not expect that at all! The food is a true Godsend! It got rid of his IBD and pancreatitis! just amazing! Royal Canin please do not make any changes to this diet! There is one change you can make not food wise, but the sodium level could be reduce some because my dog has heart disease. Other than that this food has save my dog!

Best Choice

I bought this over a year ago and my dog loves it. He suffered from skin allergies and the Apoquel wasn’t working while he was on the hydrolyzed protein which is also offered by Royal Canin. I’ve tried skin support By Royal Canin for him and nothing worked all while being on the Apoquel which is not cheap for a 60+ lb dog. So I decided to switch him to a vegetarian diet and this has been the best decision for him. No more itching and smelling of yeast and skin rashes all over his body. I only wish it came in a bigger bag. The 17lb bag doesn’t last long for us. But I hope this review helps someone else who has similar issues as we did.

My dog is allergic to soy, beef, chicken, fish and all other proteins found in most dog foods. This is the one product ( prescribed by our vet dermatologist) that my dog can eat without having an allergic reaction!!

Vet recommended and dog inspired

Okay, my dog is hungry and really has taken to this food. More importantly, it's really improving his digestion of nutrients and at nearly 11 years old, this boxer still wants to get up and go, just more slowly. Great support with this product

great food

Bought this at the recommendation of a dermatologist for my dog with a liver shunt and food allergies. Made a world of difference in her coat and the degree of her itchiness without containing a lot of protein that would affect her liver disease.
