Aging care starts before a cat becomes a “senior”. INDOOR 7+’s Age Support Complex includes powerful antioxidants like vitamins C & E and green tea polyphenols (150 mg/kg) to combat cell aging, as well as omega 6 fatty acids to nourish the cat’s coat and glucosamine and chondroitin (500 mg/kg) to support aging joints so that a mature cat can age gracefully.
A cat’s teeth and gums will become more sensitive as she ages. INDOOR 7+’s ultra-soft kibble is easy on the mature cat’s fragile teeth and gums. For dental health, the kibble texture, shape, density and size simulate a brushing action on the mature cat’s teeth, while sodium tripolyphosphate traps harmful minerals that contribute to the formation of plaque and tartar. Green tea polyphenols also contribute to better oral hygiene.
Strong stool odour can be a problem when cats live exclusively indoors. Highly digestible carbohydrates and proteins (like brown rice, wheat gluten and dried egg powder), fibre from beet pulp, prebiotics like FOS (fructooligosaccharides) and water absorbing ingredients like zeolite work to ease digestion and reduce a cat’s stool odour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been buying this for quite a few years. Both of our cats love eating this and the times we have run out and had to use other brands, have not been good. The one ends up not eating it or eating much of that other brand. We also have noticed when they don't eat the Royal Canin that they have a tendency to cough up more hairballs and their feces have more of an odor.
Their coats are very shiny and their skin is in great condition. Our veterinarian has always been pleased with how well they have been. Both are nine years old and very active, especially our silver tabby.
