Dachshunds have short legs and are well-known for their “weiner” shaped body which makes their vertebrae prone to mechanical stresses due to their back structure. This predisposes them to joint diseases, such as intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). DACHSHUND ADULT helps nutritionally support the Dachshund’s bones and joints with an appropriate mineral balance (calcium and phosphorus), glucosamine, chondroitin and omega 3s (EPA and DHA) to supply the building blocks for joint regeneration and help reduce inflammation.

The food was gentle enough that I was able to give it to my dachshund the day after she was eating dry kibbles without upsetting her stomach. The ingredients make me feel comfortable giving it to her every day. Great blend of meat and vegetables needed for a healthy dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Royal Canin breed specific meals are formulated wit the nutrition requirement of your particular breed in mind. Handy single serve pouches are great. My dachshund is a very picky eater. He will not eat a lot of foods and changes his tastes and likings often. Sometimes never eating something he ate yesterday ever again. However, with this he eats it fresh from the pouch and ate every packet in the carton. Only, problem is I have tried to locate this item locally and have been unsuccessful, but have managed to buy it on line.

I love that this food is breed specific and supports the needs of his body type. I fed ths to my dog as reccomended on the case. My dog seems a little more happier and reliving the playful puppy stage since I have tried him on this food. I reccomend this to any dachshund owner.

Its gentle on her stomach and doesn't make her have the runs after as a lot of wet food does to her. I like how it's made for her breed so I feel she is getting the best of nutrition she needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old, picky eater Dachshund loves this Royal Canin Pouch Dog Food. My dog eats 3 of these pouches a day. I love that this wet food is made specifically for my Dachshunds needs. Her favorite part of the food is the gravy. She gobbles it up. This food includes glucosamine, chondroitin, EPA and DHA which are very helpful their bones and joints. Glad I found a new food that she loves and is good for her.

There have been times when instead of eating what I feed them, they would rather go without. Not with the Royal Canin Dachshund dog food. They simply love it! The package is small enough for my miniature. I just double up for my regular-sized dog. It even smells delicious. I would recommend this dog food to any Dachshund owner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pouch dog food for Dachshund's is amazing. Its specially formulated for the Dachshund breed. I have noticed a difference in my dogs coat. Its nice and shiny and his skin isn't so dry. It must have tasted great because he is a picky eater but ate this with no problems.

It's also good for their joints, especially my older one... as she needs more help with her joints more than the younger one.
