Very disappointed in this food. Just wasted money on it bc my shepherd refused to eat it. May be ok for some dogs but mine wouldn’t even eat anything if this was in bowl.

My husband and I started using Royal Canin German Shepherd with our female shepherd, Hera, in 2020. Prior to that, we were on another brand of food. Since being with Royal Canin, her coat, nails, overall body condition is at the best it has ever been! Her teeth have very minimal tarter build up, her stools are consistently normal and for a breed with stomach sensitivities, this food does not cause stomach upset. Anybody who has German Shepherds, we highly recommend this food! This food has everything a well balanced diet should to accommodate the needs of this breed! To date, we have not added any glucosamine or other joint supplements. The kibble size is great, it is appealing and she looks forward to eating her meals. Our new puppy, who is now 5 months old, is currently on Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy. We could not ask for a better food to best support all of our dogs' needs.

We switched to royal canin about 5 years ago when our older dog developed digestive problems. This did the trick. It stopped the gas and we will never go back. We are getting a new German shepherd puppy at the end of the month and have already bought her a bag!

Bought this food when I got my German shepherds at 2 months, he is so big and healthy. Now I got a Rottweiler and we use the same brand.

Before we tried Royal Canon we tried numerous other dry dog food but he either had diarrhea and/or vomiting—what a life saver it’s been!

This is the only food we feed our German shepherds! We even switch all of our client dogs to their breed of Royal Canin. We have seen a healthier gut, and coat on all of our pups who eat Royal Canin.

Pepper has been on this food for 2 months since coming off your puppy food. We noticed she was putting on weight at the recommended 2 cups 2x a day. We’ve cut back to 1.5 cups 2x a day. She’s only been on it 2 months.

My German Shepherd as been on this dog food for over two years and loved it until the last two bags. I have noticed the smell to the food is stronger than it used to be and I called Royal Canin and they said nothing to worry about. However I am having problems getting my dog to eat the food. She gets 2 cups in the morning and 2 cups in the evening. She only eats when she really is hungry and her Vet said the dog is ok with no problems. Will try another bag and if she turns up her nose, I will need to look into another brand

My dogs would only eat this food. It’s what agrees with their super sensitive stomach. The last couple of months i haven’t been able to find the food or cans anywhere and had to switch them over to science diet . It’s so sad because they don’t like it as much as the royal canin for German shepherds
