My cat had been on this food both canned and dry for 2 maybe 3 years and it did great, no stones. She started getting sick last month, vomiting, not eating (although she was hungry), signs of bladder issues ...spent $$$ at the vet, she was forming crystals again...We had just started her on the food from the new packaging so I got online and discovered the formula had also been changed, confirmed this with a phone call to the company. Changed to a different brand of food and she is back to normal but I am now left with an entire case minus 1 can and almost an entire bag of food that she refused to eat ( I did try with the dry food). Being we have it auto shipped from another company they will not take returns on prescription food. Had we or our vet been informed of the change, we could have tried to introduce it gradually but the fact that she started to form crystals again leaves me wondering. Not real happy the price went up either.

I disagree with all these bad reviews. My cat had 5 bladder stones. I started to feed her the Urinary SO dry and canned foods gradually mixing and increasing the amount of this new food until it was all the new food. She had no issues with the old or new version of this food and it dissolved all 5 stones within a month and her coat got nice and shiny and the dander was gone. As long as you gradually introduce the new food your pet should be good.

We have three cats and one has the prescription for the SO food. They had been on the wet and dry food for two years and loved it. Within the first month of using the new formula dry food, my cat with the prescription had to go to the vet because he was very sick. We used up our old batch of wet food and tried to feed him the new formula of the wet food and he wouldn't eat it, nor would either of our other two cats, one of which eats everything. I came on-line to see if the food changed and found these reviews. Our vet has changed the prescription to a new brand, which all our cats love. Seems awfully coincidental that our cat had no issues for two years and then became sick within weeks of the new formula change.

Ever since we started feeding the gold bag, our cat has been throwing it up after every meal. We still had some green cans left which our cat eats fine. This food is supposed to help our cat, not make him more sick. We are extremely disappointed and will be asking the vet for a different brand of food.

I received not one but two bags of this new formula with the same batch number and it made my cat really sick. Within 10 minutes he started vomiting each time. Luckily I had some old formula of the wet version and gave him that. He has had no problems. Don’t feed this batch # to your cat - there’s something wrong with it!!!!!

I have been feeding my cat Urinary SO for years. Ever since I stared them on the newest bag (gold not green) my cat has had blood in his stool. I took him off the dry food with the new formula and fed him some of the old formula(green) cans, and there's no more blood and he's acting normal again. You guys did something with this food and I'm so disappointed in it.

My cat had a blockage so I took him to the vet and needless to say it wasn't a cheap bill. We were told to switch his food to Royal Canin and we did just that and so far so good! Won't be switching!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat has been on this Urinary SO Moderate Calorie dry cat food for several years. I believe this food has prolonged his life as he has problems with his urinary system. He also eats it with gusto!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's actually the veterinary diet so moderate calorie but I couldn't find it on here. It's expensive but if it helps keep him healthy it's worth it. He seems to really like it and even more I'd like to win it for free.
