[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog couldn't wait to try the food. When I took it out of the box he started to smell the bag and gave him some to try and he loved it. I like the fact the kibble is small and mad just for his breed. I would purchase this and recommend this to anyone that has a dachshunds cause it's a high quality of dog food and meets the needs for this breed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I have a very picky dachshund. I have tried a variety of food with very little success. She will eat some of the lower nutrition Foods available on the market, probably because they are like junk food for dogs. But when it comes to the higher quality stuff, she always turns her nose at it. When an opportunity to try the Dachshund Royal Canin came up, I was intrigued and excited. I have looked at it in the stores but never purchased it due to not wanting to buy yet another product that she would snub. I have given it to her a couple days in a row and she has eaten it without me having to doctor it up! I feel good about giving it to her because I know it is designed for her wiener dog body. One of the things I love about it is the size of the morsels. She often struggles with smaller or larger morsels of food, and this seems just about perfect. She is very active, and I am always worried about her joints. I am going to continue feeding her this, and if she continues to eat it, it definitely will be the brand that I purchased in the future! I recommend other dachshund owners to at least give this a try.

I like that it was specifically designed for her breed. I would not purchase this food as a every day treat. Because the price is so expensive I would only purchase maybe once or twice a year and sprinkle as a topping on her food. I would recommend this food to anyone who does not have a price issue and is looking for a good food for their dachshund.

I like that it is from a brand that is focused on food safety and sustainability. I love the idea of a food being made for specific breeds. I would purchase this again and recommend to anyone who has a dachshund.

Tucker Daniel LOVED this food and finished the entire bowl every time. I have purchased Royal Canin for him before but having a dog food specialized to his breed makes me feel like a good fur mom and he seems to have no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby boy loved the Royal Canin Breed Health Nutrition Dachshund Adult dry dog food kibbles. I let them soak in a little water and the pieces became softer for him to chew. He ate every piece and was looking for more!
