My miniature Dachshund has been on this food since he got SARDS and gained 60% of his body weight in a couple months. He was doing great! We needed to buy the 17lb. bag because the smaller bags are waaaaaaay too expensive. No problem UNTIL you changed the size of the kibble! WHY?!?!?! Based on reviews, not even large dogs like the HUGE kibble, and you don't even offer a 17lb. bag of the smaller. So are you trying to rip people off by forcing them to pay for a bunch of small bags, or just not being smart? You have SO MANY negative reviews about the change, it's obvious most of your customers are unhappy with the new size?! Please bring back the bite size that WORKS FOR THE DOGS!!!

Please bring back the smaller kibble pieces. My dog is an older dog and she is diabetic so she has to have this food. She has a harder time eating it. She still enjoys the food but I kind of have to mash it up and it's even hard for me to do.

Our 5 year old lab happily ate this food for years. She is a good weight now but we still order this food for her. But, there has been a change in the food recently and our Lab will not touch it. She leaves it in her bowl.....unbelievable. She is now eating our other dog's food and everything else she can find. Why the change in the food?

Our lab has been on this food that our Vet prescribed. Most labs aren't fussy about food but ours is. She ate the small kibble food and since the kibble size changed she won't touch it. Luckily our vet had one bag available of the small kibble but when that runs out we will have to find something that she will eat. Please bring back the old kibble size!

Our 13 yo Boston has been on this food for several years now. I actually got on here to see if there were kibble size options, since it did become bigger out of nowhere a few months ago, and I thought it was just something different about what our vet was stocking. So sorry to see it's the only option because 1. it won't fit in her treat ball anymore, which is like the one playful thing she still loves to do in her old age, and 2. she now has trouble eating it. We've started switching her to another food, but she's already gaining weight. This food has been so good for her weight...please change it back to a smaller kibble!
I'm checking "yes", that I'd recommend this product to a friend, but that's only if that friend's dog can comfortably eat large kibbles. It has worked well for us for weight management, and I recommend it for that.

My small dogs have been eating this for over a year and have lost weight (5lbs!) and LOVED it. They don't seem to be a fan of the new larger size kibble, and I worry because of one my dogs doesn't have a lot of teeth so it takes her longer to eat now :(
Did the ingredients also change? Their poop used to be dry and crumbly, and now it's very moist. Not sure what's going on.

Why fix it if it is not broken? I cannot find a review that suggest making the food pellets larger so why make a change? Although our dog will eat most anything rotting on the side of the road she is not a fan of the new size of this food. There appears to be a sufficient number of negative reviews about this issue for the company to at least respond to one of them with an explanation of what was gained by the change.

My mini dachshund has been on this for months and loved it. The new design came out and she now will not touch it. I am very disappointed as this was the only diet food she would eat. The new formula is definitely a deal breaker for me.
