Changed formula?

My 20 year old cat has been on this for 6 months and really liked it. I got her the latest cans and now she’s hardly eating it. Also, the cans are 20 grams less. I’ll have to ask my vet if there’s another brand she can have.

Recipe change is a disaster

My vet gave me food samples of Royal Canin and Hill's food for my recently CKD diagnosed 4year old cat. The samples of "D" were, by far, her favorite and the her only preferred food. At first it was hard to find it in stores. I finally did buy some with the new label. And my cat said YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! Then ran away. Why in the world would Royal Canin change the recipe on a winning food? RC must not really understand cats because the first thing you learn is that cats are finicky creatures. And they are not easily fooled when it comes to food. Please bring back the old recipe and we might forgive you.

Change of label and formula?

My cats have been eating this for years... but now, since the change of packaging (and I suspect formula) they won’t touch it. So stressful and disappointing

Formula change and now my cat isn’t eating!!

I just received two cases of food Andy cat won’t eat it. After closer inspection I noticed the label is different but there is NO mention of a different formula!! After finally finding a food to help my cat now she’s not eating.

Helped our ckd cat!

Honestly, we give him 2 brands, because he also likes variety but half his diet is either T or D. In one month he has gone from FOR stage 3 to stage 1!!! Our Vet has never seen this happen, and it is the food that has done it! RC has to to share the success, but it's still half the GREATEST success!

Only cat my food will eat consistently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After finding out my cat has renal disease, I was upset. After realizing that he consistently would hate every new food he tried within a few weeks (at most), it somehow felt worse. This food, though, he will consistently eat and seem satisfied with, every single time. That's a comfort at a time when he's lost so much weight and he can't afford to be picky...

My cats like it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat likes this renal diet and that’s a plus if your pet has renal disease. It is very well formulated for renal diet and smells good. My cat has stayed at stage two for over a year now because of this food.

My Kitten is Hungry Again

My 1.5 yo kitten has congenital kidney issues and is in the early stages of CKD. He rejected all other renal support food until I remembered he was raised on Royal Canin kitten food. We tried all three RC renal support wet formulas and he seems to like Renal Support D the best. He’s eating full meals again and is starting to gain back a little weight. I’m so grateful to RC for understanding that nutrition is only half the battle. Taste, aroma and size/shape are so important when enticing a sick cat to eat again. We will stick with this food as long as possible. Thank you!
