My thirteen year old MainCoon is thriving on this food. He loves it and is more active and alert since he’s been on this diet!

Why would you make this formula with by-products?

So, I looked at the ingredients in this product and in my opinion it’s junk. Why wouldn’t the food be sourced from real meat rather than by-products? I have a cat recently diagnosed with CKD and other than the low amount of phosphorus in this formula, I can’t see how good it would be for my cat? Source your product from real meat and not “by-products” and perhaps I may change my mind and purchase your food. Otherwise, I’m going to keep feeding my cat a healthy formula with the first ingredients being real beef, chicken, fish, etc.

Seems fine to me

I see a lot of complaints about the formula change but my cat loves this food. She recently was diagnosed and the vet gave me a sample bag. This is definitely one of her favorites!

Product has been changed

My kidney cat liked the Royal Canim D and T but now the T is pretty much impossible to find, and the D has been changed! He now refuses to eat it. The consistency of it is entirely different and there's little to no gravy in it like there was. My cat is literally withering away now. It's very sad. We have tried everything and he will not eat anything! We actually found 30 cans of T at a PetSmart 3 hours away so we drove there and scored all 30 cans! But it will only last so long. Please change it the D back to the way it was and put some (original) T back out on the shelves!!

Was better before it was changed

My cat is very picking and we’ve literally tried every flavor and brand of wet and dry kidney food (purina, hills, blue buffalo, and royal canin). The only one he liked was the Renal D. But then they changed it… now he won’t even touch it. I’m desperate to get him on a food that’s good for him but now I’m at a loss for what to do. I hate it when companies change things that there was nothing wrong with it before.

Formula changed for a reason ?

Reading the reviews about the change in formula of the renal support wet food, it makes me wonder if the original recipe was not as supportive to kidney disease. My cat turns her nose up at most brands of wet cat food geared towards kidney disease. I have only recently tried the Royal Canin brand, she will not eat it. Not having tried the old formula, I wonder if she would have liked it.

Formula changed - now my cat won't touch it

I bought some cans from my vet in December and my cat loved it. I was glad to find something she would eat that was kidney friendly. Now with my new order of the Type D food, she will not eat it. Please bring back the old formula.

What happened?

I was so relieved to find that my newly diagnosed kitty would eat the D and T kidney care food. But now, with with an apparent change of the formula, she won’t go near it. I have a few of the old cans, which she’s so relieved to get. What do I do when they’re gone???

Amazing Renal Support products

My persian was diagnosed 1 year ago with Stage 2 CKD. he has been eating the Renal Support D wet food and loves it. He will not eat any other renal support wet food. I wish they were bigger cans. He eats more wet then dry. He has lost some weight and muscle mass. He is currently eating the Renal Support P dry food. Is there another Renal Support dry food I could try, that might help him gain a bit of weight? Thank you for your great renal support products, it has really helped my little guy.

What's going on?

This is the only renal food my cat eats and it has been back ordered for so long. The new package has a different smell to it and my cat doesn't eat it! Some cans also have some black dots on them. What is going on??
