: A longer colonic transit time, plus increased colonic permeability in large breed dogs can lead to more fermentation and poor stool quality. GERMAN SHEPHERD Adult contributes to supporting this breed’s sensitive digestive system with highly digestible proteins (LIPs*), prebiotic support (MOS**) and a specific fibre blend to limit intestinal fermentation and to help maintain a balanced intestinal flora.

The German Shepherd has alkaline skin which increases the risk of skin infections and a thick, double coat. Targeted nutrition is important for maintaining a healthy skin and coat. The GERMAN SHEPHERD Adult formula helps strengthen the skin barrier and supports skin regeneration with an exclusive complex of nutrients including PINCH, omega 3s (EPA and DHA), omega 6s, vitamin A, biotin, and high quality protein.

great food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally found a good food that my dogs want to eat and doesn't cause intestinal issues. I've tried many different brands, both readily available in stores and prescription food that I had take special trips to the vets office to pick up. I was at my wits end until I began using this breed specific food. we've been on it for just over a year my dogs weight has stopped fluctuating and her coat has never looked better.

Dinner-liscious

Smells HORRIBLE

My German Shepherd has never been healthier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our GSD has never looked or been healthier than he is on this food. My problem is I cannot find a retailer who handles it consistently. PetSmart carries it and when they get a shipment I buy cases. But today when I went in, there was none on the shelves. We go through this food at 2 cans a day. Please help us find a place to purchase this food. Our vet recommended it, but VCA does not even have it on their website. :(
