Helped my girl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and allergies. Royal Canin PD has really been a blessing. This is the one diet that has given her relief from having bloody stools and vomiting. We use the canned and the kibble.

great food, some dented cans

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was diagnosed with IBD at the age of 2 years, and esophageal sphincter at the age of 2. Our vet put him on Royal Canin prescription canned Venison while he was healing. It has been 4 years, and a switch to Duck and potato when the Venison was no longer available from RC. He is doing well, no serious issues, great skin and coat. I am buying it from Chewy.com and they have free delivery . There have been times when the case has dented cans, and some are badly dented. I just call Chewy.com and they reimburse me for every dented can, every time. The last case came in perfect condition, but those cases with the dents in the bottom row middle are frustrating, and I won't serve them to my dog. Other than the dented cans, I would give this product 5 stars.

Great for a picky eater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog was diagnosed with IBD last fall. He is very picky with dog food and refused to eat other prescription diets. I wasn't sure that I could find a prescription diet that he would actually eat. This was the first thing I could get him to eat and still gets excited when I get out a can.

Works for IBD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only food that my Westie has been able to eat consistently for 3 years now and not had a flare up from her inflammatory bowl disease. I've literally tried every dog food; high quality, raw, other prescription diets and the best I got was a about a year out of each of them before she had another flare up and had to move on to another brand. And she has also never gotten bored with this food, she comes running every time it's time to eat.

A Lifesaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Chihuahua was deathly ill about three years ago. We weren't sure what it was and our Vet suggested single ingredient food for him. He recovered well and has been eating it ever since.
