Please make this again

I’m disappointed to find this no longer in stock. My dog has food allergies and it took us a long time to find food that she not only could tolerate but actually loved! We just finished our last can this morning. Not sure what I’m going to feed her going forward.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed Royal Canin stopped producing the select pro Tien PD loaf canned dog food. My dog has severe allergies and that is the only thing that he can eat. What to do when I finally run out which will be in a few weeks do I let my dog die or starve to death. I don’t understand the decision to stop production of a life-saving food.

Excellent product . . . when i could get it.

My yorkie had been on this product for over 7 years, after he had sever GI blockage. Without waring Royal Canin discontinued this product . . . My dog is 14 and very sensitive to food changes.

Easy open can

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy it is to slide the loaf out of can and divide with knife for 3 dogs to mix with cooked squash and brown rice. The dogs scarf it all down.

Keeps my dog happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is literally the only food my dog can have due to GI issues. Thank you for making it!

Great for Picky Eaters and Allergies!

After a long road to figuring out my babies tummy troubles and lots of testing we ended up doing an elimination trial with the hydrolyzed protein and were able to figure out allergies. So far this is the first and only thing my baby has been able to eat without tummy troubles. He is a super picky eater and absolutely LOVES the taste! all his GI issues are gone and his skin issues are slowly but surely beginning to resolve! could not be happier with the results!
Royal Canin response
Great to hear of the positive improvements!

Recommended -- and it works.

My dog was eating breeder-recommended food for the first 18 months of his life with nothing but problems. He was eating 7+ cups a day of some high-end, grain-free food and still losing weight. Dinnertime was always a chore; he never wanted to eat. During his neuter operation, I had the surgeon perform a GI biopsy which revealed he had severe IBD - more severe than she had seen in a dog under 6 years old. Turns out he was allergic to the chicken and beef in the food, not the grain. He was transferred to the Internal Medicine clinician who recommended I switch him to hydrolyzed protein dry food and to supplement with this wet food to bulk him up. Within two weeks I noticed his eyes were less goopy, his skin and coat softer, and he was looking forward to mealtime. He is on the road to his ideal weight (just a few pounds off) and has had little to no problems since starting this nutritional therapy. Only complaint is the cost - but in the long run it has saved me countless trips to the vet!

Our dog is 15 years old and loves Royal Canin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bohdi our 15 year old Maltese loves the duck and potato can food. He has very bad allergies and this food is the only food that keeps his coat shining and his digestive tract is great. Thank you so much for making this can food for our little Bohdi
