My JRT was diagnosed with IBD about a year ago and both my dogs ( other one is a Podengo) have been on another hypo food (vegetarian formula), with good success. Vet recommended trying this product, as JRT was still have mild flare ups. Even thou both dogs are under 15lbs, I couldn't afford to switch 100% to this product because of cost. I did buy a small bag and am using the kibble as treat rewards. My JRT is tolerating the kibble No problem, even with his hyper sensitivity to any animal protein, although my Podengo loves them, if she gets more than a few, she gets diarrhea and GERD, which I have to treat with Cerenia. No idea why the one with no digestive issues is the one not tolerating this product!?

This was offered to my dog during her vet appointment as a 'distraction treat'. I asked before they offered if it had any chicken in it, because she can't have poultry. They assured me this product was specifically for sensitive tummies and allergies. I should have asked for an ingredient list, because after being up all night with my dog having diarrhea, I see that poultry products are the second ingredient. Regardless of molecule size, my dog is allergic and it causes her severe GI upset. Vets should not be offering this without a forewarning to the owners that it contains poultry and may not work for all dogs. Part of this is the responsibility of the vet, and part is on the company to advertise this correctly and not as a one-size-fits-all solution.

My dog has been on the Hydrolyzed Protein. Along with apoquel and benadryl, skin has been better (though has flareups). Vet suggested we try this food. She had an allergic
Reaction. Her face was so swollen, red, fur peeling
From her face and gouges on her nose from scratching.
She only tried it for a few days. We took her off and 3 times
Per day benadryl and apoquel took a wk and the swelling
Is going down finally.

I have been using this product for four years and have had no issues with my food sensitive dog. Unfortunately, it’s too expensive for most people to afford.

this is the only food that has truly saved my dogs life and ours as we had tried 4 vets, 18 different foods and his quality of life wasn't good. Since switching he's now super healthy & happy and we are able to do normal life things!
However, no one can get it & now he's sick again as no other food works for him... need more please!
