Clinically proven to efficiently reduce plaque build-up.

Too small.

Just bought a bag for our cat and she just swallows it. I see in Europe they make a larger size for cats under the Veterinary Dental name.

Really Works!

My veterinarian recommended this dental food for my Abyssinian's gingivitis and after a few months it had completely reversed! Additionally, this really helped with his bad breath which I really appreciate. The kibbles are large but my cat loves crunching down on them. Both my cats love Royal Canin products and I'm always confident they will work!

My cats have been eating this dental diet since they turned 1 yr old (they're about to be 6yr old now). Their teeth have been sparkly clean since being on this diet and it definitely has kept them healthy. One of my cats has a heart issue so I am doing my best to avoid a dental cleaning since an anesthetic risk is a possibility.

Works to a certain extent

Ok. All 3 love it. Two of the three cats actually chew it. The one that needs it the most, scarfs it down without chewing, and is most likely going to react soon to the chicken in the food. I hope they develop one without any chicken. Currently, the plan will be to switch back to a limited ingredient product. I have ordered one more bag so that I can make bags of treats for the other two.

Readily Eaten

I have a small cat (6 lbs) who had significant tartar build up. I had the veterinarian order this as an alternative to a descaling procedure. I'm happy to announce that it has made a significant difference in the tartar build up and as a finicky, moist only eater prior to my new ownership, she has taken to this well. It is a larger kibble and it was somewhat difficult for her to chew it but she persevered and is able to chew the kibble without gum pain. I'm afraid however, that she may be swallowing pieces whole due to her prior food aggression. This is minimal and the benefit of this kibble diet in combination with a wet food diet has provided her with a nicely developing appetite and diet behaviour.

Possible Allergies, too much grain

My cat became itchy and began over gooming resulting dramatic hair loss.

My cat loves

My 11yo cat was changed to royal Canin now won’t eat anything but , she particularly prefers these huge kibble and at the annual checkup her teeth were the best . My other newly adopted 7 yo cat will only eat the dental kibble nothing else lol

Good for treats

My Lily isn't a huge fan of this food but she does take it as a treat a few times a week. I am trying to promote healthy dental care in her early ages. I brush her teeth as well as provide these dental nuggets and so far her teeth are looking exceptional. Now, the only criticism I could give for this would be the size of kibble, I feel that they are pretty large compared to the normal cat kibble provided by Royal Canin and I think that is one reason my cat doesn't run for these treats because they are pretty big. I throw 3-4 in her dry food bowl when she gets breakfast in the morning and they are usually the ones she eats very last. Picky thing.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat's teeth and gums were in horrible condition when I rescued her. After a couple months on this food both are in great shape. Thank you for saving her from needing a cleaning.
