Calm senior Boy!

My 15 year old male ginger cat developed stress and was straining to pass urine. We discovered blood in his urine. After bloodwork, x ray, urinalysis were clear of infection the vet recommended switching from the Royal Canin gastrointestinal to Urinary SO Aging 7+ + Calm Dry Cat Food. Our senior boy eats a mixed wet/dry. It’s a game changer. We don’t know what’s causing stress, perhaps just feeling old and vulnerable, but this food combined with lots of tender loving care has changed his life. His urine volume is back to normal. Even better than before. He is calm and not pacing around the house crying and seems more satisfied. We also give him a probiotic and prebiotic for cats to aid in gut health. We did a slow changeover from his old food to his new food.

Keeps my cats FLUTD under control

I work in the veterinary field, and my cat was on Hill's C/D Stress for many years. A rep offered me a bag of this over a year ago, and we have decided to keep feeding it. My cat is not picky with food, at all, so I can't really say how palatable it is for a finicky cat. I can say that in 18 or so months that we have had him on it, he has not had any flare-ups of straining due to his FLUTD.

Great product !

My fearful kitties love this product and their sibling are always getting bites of it too . I like it has lower phosphorus and calcium for aging felines as that is important for kidney health . They also enjoy the wet variety . In addition , behavioral modification and environmental enrichment has helped as well as a small dose of fluoxetine for inner cat aggression (which was added last but definitely took the edge off ). A whole 360 approach is needed for fearful and aggression not just one product . They have not tired of the taste in years and always get great cbc labs

Really Good, But Recent Vomitting

I used this brand with my cats for years. My one cat had bladder crystal at only a few years old and we put him & his brother on a urinary diet. He had more crystals at 10 and we switched to this brand, they're currently 14. Recently I noticed there was quite a lot of hairballs and vomiting, but I assumed it was because of age and a recent move. Then, I had to temporarily switch to a different dry food. They liked this dry food more, and hairballs had reduced. Now I've switched back to Urinary SO 7+ +Calm and the vomiting (of mostly water) and hairballs have continued. I am planning to switch dry food brands.

Only food that works for my Bengal

My Bengal has urinary stress which leaves him agitated and in pain. This is the only food that has successfully calmed his stress and reduced his discomfort making him comfortable and as a result, a pleasant family kitty. Competitor's foods do NOT work! This is the only one that works. Please continue to manufacture this product. It's superb to anything else on the market.

An excellent food!!!

My kitty has been on this food for over a year. He loves it, eats with gusto, which was not his appetite before. His energy level is higher which was not so much the case before. His coat is soft and he has not shed as much. And he no longer continually licks his "private area". His peeing has increased since the food encourages his drinking more water. And his poops are frequent and normal. Since he is an older cat, these things are really important. In short, it is worth what I spend because in the long run, I will have less vet bills. I could not be happier with this food.

Yummy Tummy

Scampi Kitti cannot get enough of this food! He walks me to the bag every morning too”help” me get him some more to eat. He gobbles a full bowl each day!
