The skin and coat reflect the dog’s state of health. An appropriate food is important in maintaining healthy skin and coat. The GOLDEN RETRIEVER ADULT formula helps support the skin’s role as a barrier with an exclusive complex of nutrients and helps maintain skin and coat health (EPA and DHA).
Golden Retrievers can be prone to cardiac sensitivity. The GOLDEN RETRIEVER ADULT formula contains specific nutrients to help support healthy cardiac function: taurine, EPA and DHA.
Excess weight gain can affect the health of Golden Retrievers, and therefore an appropriately balanced food is necessary for their well-being. GOLDEN RETRIEVER ADULT helps maintain the breed’s ideal weight with an appropriate calorie and fat content.

He really enjoyed the kibble shaped food and smooth texture. I plan to buy t he product now that he has found something that he e joys. I recommend the product to all parents of golden retrievers.

Golden Retriever couldn’t wait to try the Royal Canin Adult Golden Retriever Breed Health Nutrition. He can be picky, but he ate the whole dish, and left the tv remote alone!
When the store is out of his usual dog food, he often tastes a different brand and leaves it in the bowl for a while without eating it. He had a hard time sitting still for his photo with the bag and kept trying to open it. Once dinner was served, Theo ate every bit of Royal Canin Golden Retriever food and started looking around for leftovers. It was a great hit. The kibble size was huge compared to his other food. It slowed him down, had lots of crunch, and didn’t have a weird smell when I opened the bag, as some other brands do!
I will be adding this to his shopping list and recommending it to my cousin who breeds Goldens.
I like that the food is made for our dog breed. And that it will help improve his diet!

I think all Golden parents should try this. Mine were really crazy about it. I know it cost a little more, but i would say it is well worth it.

I love that this product is breed specific and I feel like I'm doing the absolute best for my pup. I feel like Royal Canon really put in the work necessary to make the perfect formula for my golden retriever with a specific nutrients to help them thrive. These kibbles are extra large and it makes them chew their food. They love the taste didn't upset their sensitive stomachs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew that breed specific foods were a thing until now, and I will definitely be sticking with it! My dog ABSOLUTELY loved this, she perked up instantly. I love how everything is specific to golden retrievers. It must taste amazing being that my dog is seriously obsessed with this food and the size was shocking to me yet she seems to prefer the bigger kibbles! It’s great that the ingredients contain nutrients SPECIFICALLY for goldens. I will definitely be using this exact dog food from now on, it also did good with her stomach so it’s easily digestible!
