My dog loves it!

This food is excellent for my VERY picky Pekingese. She turned her nose up at the Hills renal diet but she absolutely loves this and has been eating it for almost a year. Because of her “smushed” face, she has trouble with wet loaf. She has no issue getting these little cutlets in her pie hole, though. This and her rice cake “treats” is all she eats now and she seems perfectly happy with it. I highly recommend!

My 17 year old picky dog loves this food!

My 17 yr old rescue has early stage renal disease and the vet Rec this food. My dog has never been food motivated and extremely picky about what she will eat. She has eaten this good better than anything I have ever tried and eating is so important at her age.

Asks for seconds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 5 different canned specialized renal diet from two manufacturers and this is the one she’s gobbling up. It’s her first week on the, so too early to review efficacy. Fingers crossed. I do plan to try the other options in RC’s line since she tends to want variety, who wouldn’t :)

Boston Terrier approved! He's addicted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Otis is a 3yrs old Boston Terrier w/ CKD due to a case of neglect. Over 3 months ago we tried Renal D when he had a set back w/ his illness & refused his normal Renal diet. We did try the pate from Royal Canin 1st but let's just say he did not like that at all ( the look on his face & unfinished food in his bowl said it all.) I was so happy & relieved when he ate the Renal D, as you all know it is not good when a CKD dog stops eating. He ate Renal D w/o hesitation & knows the can by sight. He loves it so much I still have to mix some in with his dry Renal kibble. And heaven forbid I take "too long" getting his food ready; he will start making his Boston/ gremlin noises at me & every time he gets louder. If you are looking for a great Renal food to get your dog eating again try this food!
