My cat loved the Royal Canin urinary care thin slices in gravy! He has still been going consistently, but wet food always helps with their urinary issues.

I have given my cats Royal Canin foods in the past and they've always loved them, but this was our first time trying Royal Canin Urinary Care formula. It was developed to help balance the mineral content in your cat's urine, and it promises to do that in just ten days. I only had two cans of this food, so I can't speak to the company's claims of longer-term benefits, but I have come to expect the highest quality products from this brand. My cats' urinary health is very important to me since I had a cat years ago who developed bladder stones and required a very expensive and somewhat dangerous surgery. She was at an advanced age at the time, but she survived the surgery and was very healthy for a few more years before died, and I vowed then that I would never again let any cat of mine become dehydrated or develop painful stones. I add water to their wet food every day to help prevent such problems, but I really appreciate a food that is formulated to help keep them hydrated. The real question, then, was would my cats eat it? The answer is a resounding 'YES!'. Both of my cats enjoyed this food. I split one can between them, and Paisley cleaned her bowl in one sitting. (Prudence ate hers, too, but she eats more slowly.) Unfortunately, because this food costs nearly three time more than their usual favorite food, it isn't something I can afford to feed them regularly. However, if either of my girls were to start developing UTIs or other urinary tract problems, this is the first food I would turn to in hopes of preventing future complications. If your cat has a history of stones or UTIs, I would definitely recommend this product. Not only will it help better balance the minerals in their urine, if they're anything like my girls, they'll love the taste of it, too!

I don't kno if it's helping yet I'm sure I'd need to use a bit longer to tell but taste wise the cat really loves the food.

my cat really seemed to enjoy this food. She pretty much devoured it as soon as I gave her the bowl. I feel like the cat food helped her. And I feel good knowing I'm giving her something that's good for her.

We were pleasantly surprised by the appearance of this cat food. It had great looking meaty bits with an awesome amount of gravy. You could tell by the visual appearance and scent that this is a higher quality cat food. Our cats seemed to really enjoy this food and they ate it very quickly.
