Benefits: Glucomodulation / High protein / Low starch / S/O index ROYAL CANIN® Diabetic is specifically formulated to help in the management of glycemia in adult cats with diabetes mellitus. Choosing an adapted diet with a high protein, low starch, and adapted fibre content helps to minimise surges in blood glucose after a meal. This formula contains a high level of protein to help support and maintain a healthy muscle mass. This formula contains a reduced level of starch to help manage post-prandial glycemia in diabetic cats. This diet also promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate stones. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period. Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount, especially when mix-feeding. Ok ... I love this food, but OMG, you need to make this in a bigger bag! Your food saved my cat’s life but that was on just the urinary SO. Now that he’s a little chunky, he’s got diabetes (from your food), but he’s a hungry guy, and needs a bigger bag. Just like his daddy, I don’t like small bags of anything! You need to make this in the 17.6 lb size. Do the right thing; make it bigger! Please, pretty please? Purrrr. Meow.....

I put my cat on this food for his diabetes and he likes it but I really wish it came in a bigger bag so I wasn’t buying it as much!

My petite cat is diabetic and the Glycobalance supplements her insulin regimen. However the kibble size is quite large compared to other dry cat foods. The Glycobalance kibble is bigger than my dog's food. Please consider reducing the size of this kibble, I think it would go farther for her and be more attractive. Currently, I will run it through the food processor to grind it up; for the amount of money I am spending on a Vet diet, I don't think I should have to take extra steps in feeding her. Please see the attached photo

Having a diabetic cat you are limited with available, acceptable food. My cat loves dry food and glycobalance works great. It satisfies his need to crunch while filing his belly.

My cat has diabeties and bladder inflammation. This food addresses both problems as well as keeping the insulin to a minimum. Best of all she loves the food. Thanks Royal Canine!

I have 5 yr old 21 lb cat. Although he is not diabetic being overweight he stands a good chance. I’m feeding this product in hopes of keeping that from happening. So far so good.

This was suggested by our vet when our cat developed diabetes and even tho' he's a fussy eater, he seems to really like this food.
