This dog food really was/is a game changer for our staffie/lab mix. We tried MANY different things including home cooking and Farmers Dog, vet gave him Rx's,.... Nothing helped, until he began eating RC Gastrointestinal High Energy (both wet & dry). So glad we found it!!!

Doggo has been on for 5-1/2 years due to damage done to intentional/digestive system from high dose Prednisone super steroid treatment for another life threatening condition. Vet recommended. Will be on rest of her life… Doggo pushes me out of way to get to it at each meal…

Our Dalmatian began having diarrhea multiple times a month. Our Vet recommended trying Royal Canin Gastrointestinal and we’ve had no issues at all since. She eats both the canned and dry with no issues.

I spent a fortune on this for my greyhound for almost a year, thinking the Gastrointestinal “prescription” diet was the way to go - but we never quite got a handle on his chronic diarrhea until I changed brands. Look at the very first ingredient listed, and you’ll feel like a fool for throwing your money away and delaying your pet’s health gains: Chicken by-product meal.

Vet had me use this. Gregory loves it. Still throws up and has poop problems but not to many hair ball. One bad lasted a few months

My German Shepherd always struggled with sensitive stomach. We tried different ( generic store foods) and it would trigger his stomach to the point that last year he developed pancreatitis brand and had severe diarrhea, vomiting. The veterinary clinic prescribed this gastrointestinal dry food and he has been taking it for about 8 months now and did not have accidents since then.

My dog was prescribed this food when he was a puppy to address GI issues. For 3 years, he tolerated the food and enjoyed it. Since the company CHANGED the formula, my dog has been in and out of the vet's office and prescribed NUMEROUS meds for diarrhea, vomiting, and excessive paw licking. After our vet told us to immediate stop feeding him this food, his symptoms went away. The company needs to be honest and upfront with customers when they make changes to prescription dog food. It is clearly in the BEST interest of the pet.

I just talked to my vet. This product is NOT discontinued. However it is not currently available. As soon as it’s back in stock you will be able to order. I do agree that there may be some quality issues. My dog used to love the canned version and now he won’t eat it.

Our Cinderella was a Puppy Mille Mommy and as a result has a damaged digestive system. Our Veterinarian put her on Royal Canin dry following a blockage where we almost lost her. Later he added the canned meat and the treats. We haven't had another problem since then. Cinderella is a registered Service Dog and is cross trained as a Therapy and has done 300 hours making people happy. Her original owner was an abusive human that should never be allowed to own a dog again.
