My dog eats only this, and has for years. He loves it so much, and he would never be what he is today without it!

Our dog has major issues with his stomach. He has had several operations and has irregular bowel syndrome.We started using Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein food.He has been on this now for a year and he’s doing great.Our vet told us that he will probably be on this dietary food forever.He just turned 4.Our only complaint is that it is so extremely expensive. It would be nice if you could get coupons or if you could get a discount for pets who have to eat this.

Like many of the other reviews, our Boxer was throwing up a lot. After many test and many food changes we were put on a food trial with this food. She stopped throwing up immediately. We went from just about every night (well 1:30am) throwing her entire meal to zero nights. She loves this food too! She has since gained her weight back too! I wished I had known about this food sooner.

Does what it needs to for his stomach, and he is obsessed with the taste so far!

We had tried everything. My dog started having bad reactions around 9 months old when we started to switch him to adult food. And over the next 2 years we changed foods so many times. This year we could tell it was getting worse, he would vomit every other day or so and sometimes more than once a day. And his bowel movements often had blood in them. After many tests our vet finally said he had irritable bowel disease, and suggested we try to Royal Canin HP blend. When I tell you it’s like we got our puppy back finally, I couldn’t be more honest. He has so much more energy, and is cuddly again. We couldn’t be more impressed with this food and are so incredibly grateful to have our dog feeling healthy again. :)

My newfoundland mix had chronic ear infections for his whole life. I was told about HP when he was 4 and I started him on it. Ever since, his ear infections went away, never came back and I don't even have to clean his ears ever!!! This product has truly given my dog a good quality of life and saved him. And also, did I mention how much he loves to eat it? LOL drools for it every day. Thanks RC!

We have a German Shepherd/hound mix, and early on she was diagnosed with allergies, specifically food sensitivities. We tried all kinds of dog food: we avoided chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, and for awhile she was okay-ish on salmon dog food from Sam’s Club, but her allergies never went away entirely even with taking Apoquel. We tried a new vet and they gave her Cytopoint, and started her on the hydrolyzed protein dog food, and she finally got clearer skin, and did not have as many gastrointestinal issues either. And even better was the fact that she LOVES this dog food. When we had her on other non-prescription dog foods she would literally not eat. We had to change vets, and the new vet tried her another prescription food dog food, but one that had extra skin and coat benefits and she could not tolerate it. Something it caused her sensitivities to flair up, so we went back to this dog food and will not be changing. I will happily pay $120 a month for my dog to live a healthier life.

Since my dog got this food, she didn’t have anymore problem with her stomach and pooping is look normal and healthy.

My greyhound has issued with gastrointestinal everything. This is the only dry dog food that she can digest. I mix it with a bit of rice and ground beef and she eats it right up. No bowels issues or any problems. My dog has been on this food for over 5 years now.
