We love (d) the food and so did our dog. However, the Vet is out of this food as well as all retailers that can sell based on the need for a prescription. I contacted the company and was told they have no date for availability - no date at all. This is a major supply issue as ALL retailers/ Vets are out. As you know, changing your pet's food can be an issue. How does a company allow this to happen? We now have to change foods to feed our dog and cannot go through changes again. Sorry - You probably lost a loyal customer.

My rescued Bichon has about 15 different food allergies. With this food plus oral medication she has had improvement. My reason for 3 stars is I wish I could buy the small dog in a bag bigger than 8 pounds as it would be a lot cheaper. I have bought the big bag (over 20 pounds- not identified for small dogs) to see how big the kibble is and it is huge compared to other dog foods that you can buy in the bigger quantity.

I have very picky eaters and usually have to use a food topper. They all absolutely love this! My complaint is not of the food but of the inconvenience of there being no option for a bag larger than 8.8 lbs for small breed. We all know price goes down per lb when buying in larger sizes. This is $7.28/lb and the regular size kibble has a 25.3lb bag at $5.26/lb. As someone who rescues small senior and special needs dogs (7 are on this food) it’s extremely frustrating and inconvenient when price comparing.

Our vet recommended this food for my older dog who had elevated liver enzymes. She grew weak. The vitamins in this food are synthetic. I switched my dog to a vegetarian diet and she is now playful and energetic.

I’ve been feeding my dogs this for years I’m glad they got something that help our boy with his problem and are other boy it’s it too

It is impossible to find commercial dog food that does not contain chicken. Since my dogs have been eating Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein food, they are comfortable and their coats much improved.

This really saved our dogs life with a healthy and well balanced diet. It's worth the price and our Rollins really loves the taste. Also they have treats that are out of this world delicious that he loves too.

my Vet recommended this when my dog was about a year old for allergies and sensitive stomach. He is now 7 years old and still loving his food! It may seem costly, but it lasts a long time so I have never wanted to switch brands. Stools are firm and not messy like with other canned foods. I also use the moist canned of the same name for night time treats in small amounts or to give him pills.
