He’s eating

My vet put my dog on this food due to crystals in his urine. He has been a picky eater and I have thrown out and wasted so much food. He started eating Urinary SO about 2 weeks ago and he has eaten every meal. I can’t believe he actually looks forward to his meals. He loves the food.

Exceptional Results for 15 years

At 3yo our Cairn Terrior/Chi Mix was diagnosed with a rare bladder issue that required surgery to save his little life. Our vet attempted twice and finally a specialist removed/repaired what was needed to save Rex. Royal Canine SO was prescribed and we have never given anything else. REX IS NOW 21 YEARS OLD. No kidney/bladder issues for this chap! We are

I really can’t properly rate this food because my dog hates it. I give it 5 stars for eliminating the Struvite Crystals. It’s a struggle every day. When she get really hungry she will eat a small portion but nothing near what the directions call for. I’m so worried. Broths don’t help at all

Awful diet no prescription in it

There’s is no prescription in this diet, there is nothing here to actually help with a problem. If youre looking for help with urinary issues, lower magnesium and phos levels. Simple research!

It worked like magic!

My toy poodle is almost 16 years old and in good health. I work at a veterinary pet hospital. Although my dog had no symptoms requiring X-rays , our vet did them during a routine health exam. We were all shocked to see approximately 18 bladder stones or crystals in my dog’s X-ray. He was exhibiting no signs of symptoms at all. What made this even scarier was that, at 16 years old, would surgery even be an option , if the stones began to cause pain, blood in urine, trouble urinating etc. this was 7 months ago. My veterinarian prescribed Royal Canine SO for urinary tract health. I immediately changed my pet’s diet to a combination of the dry and the wet versions. After 7 months, at my dog’s next complete physical exam, including X-rays , blood work and urine analysis…. Blew us all away…. My beloved friend of 16 years was completely free of bladder stones and crystals. Totally desolved about 18 of them in 6 months ! My very senior dog would not be in pain , facing a possible emergency health situation and a surgery which would most likely, not be an option for him at his age. Royal Canine is a miracle supastah far as I am concerned. Far surpassed what we thought possible!

Very Satisfied

I adopted a Pomeranian from the shelter and she seemed to be having painful episodes and it was found incidentally on xray that she had kidney stones in her bladder. She also had swelling around both her kidneys. We started her on the RC S/O dry food and she loves it. The swelling went down within 6 months and she has not had any painful passing of stones in over 1 year since putting her on this. I trust this brand 100%

Useless For Dissolving Struvite Stones

Our Maltipoo was diagnosed with a urinary infection and through ultrasound we found she also had bladder stones. There were 3 prescription urinary dog foods that were recommended. I had good luck with my cat and Royal Canin's limited ingredient cat food so I chose to purchase the SO. After two months of feeding there was NO reduction in the stones and expensive surgery followed. Minnesota lab results showed 100% struvite. This food is expensive and useless.

My dog loves it!

Lucy has been on Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Dog Food for about 2 years now, due to bladder stones that had to be surgically removed. She loves the dry food. I also buy her the canned food as a treat here and there.
