Recommendations: It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Initially feed Renal special for up to 6 months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and reduction of oxalate stone formation. For cases of temporary renal insufficiency a period of 2 to 4 weeks feeding is recommended.

Cats Love It!

Really helped concentrate his urine

Oz was acting ok, but not concentrating his urine. Huge clumps in the litter box. X-ray showed he has one diseased kidney with many stones.Per our veterinarian, we started Ozzie on food this a month ago. He loves it, and there has been a marked reduction in the amount of his urine lumps.

my experience

I don't really know where to start My cat was just sleeping all the time and unhappy, lethargic and nervous and after a day of taking Royal Canin kidney support she came back alive again, active and playing I can't express my happiness enough nor thank you even there is only one negative and that is the high price of wet food Of course, no one wants to give his cat with kidney disease dry food and the matter gets worse. I wish the prices of wet food were reasonable, but it costs a budget, and if we look at the ingredients, it is not expensive, and with this result it deserves

He Loves It!

I use Renal F, S and A dry food. I combine them to keep things interesting for my Kitty and call it "Party Mix." He loves them all and never hesitates to nom up his crunchies. If only it was as easy to get him to eat his renal wet food. I give him wet as well to make sure he gets enough moisture, but he would be thrilled if I just let him eat any of the Royal Canin renal dry food.

What's A Pet Owner to Do?

While my cats would rather eat other "non-prescription" food and other food is less expensive, Royal Canin Renal Support is the only food the veterinarian recommended. My cat has been on this diet for a year and I have not seen any improvement in her condition, but it has not gotten worse either. I will keep working a full-time job in order to feed my four-legged children!

This food, along with the other lettered ones in the renal family were prescribed to my cat with kidney disease. He, as well as the others love all the flavors. It is low in protein and phosphorus, which is a necessity in his diet. My boys get excited for food time when they see this in their bowls.

My cat loves this!

Vet prescribed for feline Renal Health

My vet prescribed this about a year ago for my 10 year old outdoor female, spayed cat. Her blood tests were starting to show early signs of renal disease. Within a few months her condition had greatly improved. This food was the only real change made. For a now 11 year old cat, -she runs and jumps like a kitten again. She plays all day long, and catches field mice, snakes and lizards on a weekly basis. Most importantly she loves the food and will actually sit up and beg for it!

Great taste!!!

I served this food to my cat who has end stage renal disease and very particular on what she will eat and she is indeed eating it! Thank goodness!!!
